Thought I would toss a holy hand grenade out there.

What do you think would the world be better without religion?

War, hate and intolerance have been associated with religion... so has peace, love and understanding.

What say you? Discuss.

I think that religion gibes people something to believe in... and have hope for something beyond life. But I believe that TOO MANY things (war, murder, hatred) are spawn from religion.

I don't know if we would be better off without it... because too many people would wander without some sort of hope... if that makes sense.

For me... either way. Doesn't matter.

I voted undecided. Religion can have a negative or a positive effect; it's all about what you get from it.

That's about what I was saying. There are good, and bad things, from it... but, it isn't the religion itself... it's the people. They can be nice, or cruel.
