I have to crack the following anagrams:

O Draconian Devil

Oh Lame Saint

Harvest a Wet Kite

The answers are all in The Da Vinci Code. I found the first two. They’re Leonardo Da Vinci and The Mona Lisa. That’s simple enough because these anagrams are anyway cracked in the book. I went through the book but I can’t find the last. I think it must be the name of a character or group or work of art or perhaps even a place.

Anyone who’s read the book or seen the movie and remembers the names: can you think what that last one might be? Thanks.

I put it in a anagram generator, and got a 1000 hits, most of them gibberish, some looked like they might fit.

Thieves Tweak Art

Taketh Verse Wait

Taketh Eve Its Raw

Taketh Eve Its War

Theist Avert Weak

The words, atheist and harvast all also in there.

Thanks a lot to everyone for their replies. I think “Whatever it takes” makes the most sense, but I’m sure the answer is the name of something that is in the book. Or something, some phrase related to the book or the story in some way.

If you want to check out the contest for any possible clues, it’s here:

It might be something in the book, but nothing came to mind for me. I know it was not an anagram in the book, as was the other two, which were used pretty much in the beginning. The other wasnt as obvious.

Its possible that you might be putting too much into it.

Whatever it takes to solve it...just as they did whatever it took in the book as well.

Did you read the book?

i read the book a year ago and then looked thru every page again a few days ago when trying to solve the anagrams.

i guess it could be whatever it takes...i can't make out from the contest rules whether i'm allowed to send more than 1 entry. if yes, i'll gladly send this solution and then keep hunting for more.

I cant say whether this is right or not...it made perfect sense to me.

It does make more sense than anything else, but thats because I couldnt find anything else to fit.

The contest is closed ... and if you weren't within the first 10,000 when you finished it... you received the following link which details some behind the scenes discussion on the movie:

Breaking the DaVinci code says....Jesus was so committed to His ministry that he was single. It doesn't make sense that someone whose entire ministry was to save the entire world would have time or even the purpose of marriage and raising a family....

I urge people to check out the book...they sell it in major bookstores...

Well, if a book that tries to discredit a fictional book that spins the stories in another book says it, it must be true

I don't, I believe whatever Dan Brown tells me. He's just so dreamy, he makes me give up believing in everything except Dan Brown.

Well, I have one, but Dan Brown gave it to me. His history books like The Da Vinci Code give me all the knowledge I need
