Man that was cruel to make Taylor pick which group was the bottom three. I hate it when they do that.

What did they do... tell Taylor that he was safe, and then put the remaining six into two groups of three, and tell him to pick?

they pulled the other six into two groups and left him on the couch. Then they tell him he is safe and that he may or may not have been the top vote getter and to pick a group that is the bottom three.

They did the same thing to Bo, last season, and he wouldn't pick. He just stood between the two groups. I'm surprised that Tay didn't do the same. I would NOT have picked. HOW do you go back to working with the others, after that, and justify that? Poor Taylor... putting him on the spot like that. What crap.

HOLY CRAP.... it was Ace, and Chris, in the bottom two!! What a load of absolute CRAP!!! Had it been Chris going home tonight, I would have been so pissed.

I don't think he had a choice. They may have told him that he could not do a Bo and stand in the middle.

Dial Idol predicted the bottom three. Sometimes fan bases get overconfident that their guy is safe. It was either that or they did it to push the buttons and get a huge vote for Chris next week and a huge backlash for Taylor for picking his group.

I don't think that the SP will allow Tay to have a drop in votes. He will be okay. But, there will be people saying crap.

I think that a lot of people are going to vote for Chris because of tonight.

Paris was in the third spot. There is absolutely NO WAY that Kellie did a good job last night. And Paris had a FLAWLESS performance. Something stinks in Idolville.

People are spewing crap about Taylor-most of them Chris fans because he shook his hand before he stood next to that group. Sheesh. Shaking hands is like saying "I like you" . I totally think AI did this to try to ruin Taylor's chance of winning. SP can't do it all. As they go down in numbers, we have to pull in new fans. I hate AI right now.

I agree with Chris. Was shocked to see Chris in the bottom 3. He is just too good to be there. In fact he was my favorite last night.

Pickle butchers her song and is safe? Paris sings a flawless entry and is in the bottom 3?

Can I just express how HAPPY I am now that Ace is gone? Now, if Kellie went next week, I believe that I would be VERY HAPPY with the top five. Those were my picks!!!

I took it as him saying "sorry I have to chose". Please, how can you honestly think that Taylor though Chris was going home? ACE was in the group! That is a no brainer there. Kellie has too huge of a fan club and vote for the worst behind her. Taylor also stopped as he went off stage and said sorry to Paris and Ace. They put him in a horrible position. People who were there were saying that at the break they told him he had to pick and could not remain neutral. Think what you will.

I bet Lawless was sweating seeing Chris in the bottom 3...

And why is anyone surprised that The Pickle was safe and Paris wasn't? Like I've said time and time again, if this was just a singing competition it would be on the radio.

I think Chris getting low votes was an abberation. That's how this contest rolls.

Just remember the demo for this show and those who vote, that's why the people have been voted off.

Sher, it's not that I THINK that Taylor was saying that to Chris, with the handshake... it was just strange that he didn't shake the other two contestants hands. Seriously, I think that Taylor was more upset, and felt on the spot. I believe that he went over to the group with Katharine, because he knew that Ace's time was up.

I still think it was wrong for him to even walk over there and do that. No one told him to even go over there. We dont know for sure that they told him that he HAD to pick...and I never saw that he didnt have time to shake the hands of the others. I certainly didnt see Ryan pulling him by the seat of his pants to the other side....so no offense, but I completely disagree with that theory.

I buy it because they did it right after the break. There were some AI posts about it, and it sounds like the type of thing AI would do.

actually the posts showed up at least an hour after the show aired. CA people do get to go to the show. So if the posts were showing up after the show aired on the East Coast from our CA viewers, then yes I believe it. One of the people who posted was trying to get me to come up to L.A. to go to the rehersal on Tuesday.

You saw it as cocky, many of us saw it as him trying to be nice and shake Chris's hand because he thought there was no way Chris was going home. It all has to do with your out look on things. You are more of a cynic than I am Mystic. You are more skeptical about things, and I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt.

I still don't know why it's a big deal. If he would have flipped the other side the bird, I could see the uproar. At least he acknowldged the other side instead of just walking over to the other people. If he would have blew them off I could maybe begin to see, somewhat, how someone might possibly get slightly annoyed at it.

Honestly, I don't get why people are so mad at him either. He was not the one jumping up and down for joy that he wasn't voted off. Kat and Kellie did that. It was far worse than what Taylor did.
