Rod Stewart songs we wish they could sing

I know that many of us were sad that they will not be singing Rod's songs. Post your picks of what you wish they would sing.

Well, I had already posted this over in the thread:

I would LOVE to hear these songs... and I might pick multiple for one person... and not put another's name down, at all.

Maggie May (Taylor)
Forever Young (Elliott)
I Don't Wanna Talk About It (Chris)
Have I Told You Lately (Taylor)
So Far Away (Katharine)
The First Cut Is The Deepest (Chris)
This Old Heart of Mine
Tonight's The Night (Ace)
Young Turks (Chris)

Now I want to hear Taylor do First Cut is the Deepest. He did it in Hollywood, but we only got about ten seconds of it. It was awesome.

Chris would be great on Young Turks.

I think that Chris would be AMAZING doing Young Turks. That's one of my fav Rod songs. But, Forever Young will always have that special place in my heart, as I've always thought of my little brother whenever I hear it, and wish him the best in life.

I just can't hear the girls singing his songs. They always make me think of the guys.

So Far Away -Ace
Maggie May- Taylor

I just hear Taylor singing a lot of them. It is a raspy thing I guess.

That's why I put Katharine down for "So Far Away" because I think that she would do a decent job with it. She could use that sultry voice of hers.

I had picked Taylor to do Maggie May. I think that he would be amazing on that song.

I can see Taylor dancing and moving singing Maggie May!

I have always loved "Broken Arrow" and thought that would have been a good one for Taylor or Chris.

It is hard to consider what the girls would have sung...
