I know that this war has not been forgotten to relatives and our soldiers currently fighting, but on the homefront and the PR this war appears to be forgotten. I have searched faithfully my local newspaper to find articles or even pictures of Americans in Iraq and in Afghanistan, but there aren't many stories. Even the New York Times has discontinued the Iraq section of the paper which was based solely on the war.

It also appears to me that this war was based on propaganda and lies. Allusions of grandeur as they call it. Am I the only person who feels this way?

That's the nature of news and a flagging public interest in a story that hasn't really changed, except for the occassional blip, for over 2 years.

The war was based on lies and allusions of grandeur, and continues to be so. America's foreign policy based on lies, propoganda, and misinformation, will not change until Bush has gone from office and America has a president who has a clue.

I pity the soldiers over there that are basically being forgotten by the government that they are fighting for and the media.
