NEW THEME NIGHT

People are saying that on April 11th the theme will be songs by Queen.

REALLY? Awesome... I love Queen. But, Freddie Mercury's voice is NOT going to be easy to do. That will definately be interesting to see how it's handled.

It will be a hit or miss night for everyone. I hope that they stay clear of the anthem type songs. Those will be hard since they are over done by media.

I am a bit worried about Kellie and Bucky trying to do Queen.

I hope someone sings "Show Must Go On"

They need to STAY AWAY from singing, Bohemian Rhapsody. That would be the kiss of death, I believe. It's just toooooo over done.

Show Must Go On is an AMAZING song... and not all that easy to do.

A Kind Of Magic is a song that I just love, soooo very much. Freddie's voice in that always gives me the chills. I think that I would LOVE to hear Chris take this one on. But, I'm not sure that it would be right for his vocals or not. I just know that this is probably my fav song by Queen.

Who Wants To Live Forever is another song that moves me, to pieces.

They need to stay away from "FAT-BOTTOMED GIRLS" as well.

I'm looking forward to QUEEN night.

I've only ever seen the second second of AI, but I might watch this episode. If it's at 8 I can catch it, but if it's at 9 I'll be busy with House or Scrubs.

I LOVE Queen. I hope someone does Seven Seas of Rhye, The Show Must Go On, Don't Stop Me Now, and Killer Queen. Those are my favorites that I think they can do. If someone starts into Bohemian Rhapsody or We Are The Champions I'll have to turn it off for a few minutes because those songs HAVE to be sung by Freddie Mercury.

How bout "I want to ride my bicycle". That is one messed up song.


Uh, Queen did a song, right before Mercury died. I can't remember the name of it. But it had a small bohemian rapsody like part in it, something about "you can be anything you want to be, just turn yourself into anything you think that you can be, be free with your ego, be free, be free," yada yada, havn't heard it in 15 years. That was an awesome song.


Hope someone does that one.

Oh yeah... we would LOVE to hear your take on the performers doing different Queen songs.

This is the second week in a row where there are rumors that AI is telling certain contestants that they must sing a certain song. Rumor this week is that Elliott was told to sing BR.

They are being told which song to sing? What crap. I think that him singing BR is a bad decision. How about putting another nail in the coffin?

Who knows if it is really true though? If anyone sings it, I expect Ace to sing it.
