Oh Dear God,

As if Ocean's 12 wasn't torture enough...

First Julia Roberts, then Catherine Zeta-Jones and now ... Ellen Barkin? According to Variety, Barkin has joined the superstar gang on "Ocean's Thirteen," with Roberts and Zeta-Jones sitting this one out (egad!). Producer Jerry Weintraub says that the former leading ladies "just weren't part of the script this time" (uh-huh) and that Barkin will be romantically involved with Matt Damon's character (holy older lady!). Weintraub does confirm that along with Damon, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Don Cheadle, Bernie Mac, Casey Affleck, Scott Caan, Eddie Jemison, Shaobo Qin, Carl Reiner and Elliott Gould will return. The third installment of the franchise begins shooting July 21 on five soundstages on the Warner Bros. lot where a fully operational casino will be built. No disrespect to Barkin, but with three months to go, let's pray that Brad asks Angelina to at least make a cameo.

Yawn. The first one was pretty good. Second one sucked ape. I can only imagine what this pile will be. Here's an idea: write a plot that makes sense. It's so much funner for the viewer.

Oceans 13 will be worse than Oceans 12 which was worse than Oceans 11, which was only a "6 out of 10" to begin with.

The Oscar-winning actor is set to join George Clooney and the rest of the gang for Ocean's Thirteen, the latest installment in the continuing criminal escapades of Danny Ocean and his company of crooks.

He plays a casino owner.

Word is Julia Roberts is out.

Oceans 12 was too confused with her anyway... her prentending to be herself, even though she wasn't herself, she was somebody else, but it was really her pretending to be someone pretending to be her. What the heck was that?

Bad writing.

The whole movie was lame, I still don't know what the hell was going on. Got too cutesy. Then half the third act everyone is in jail and Matt Damon comes to the rescue with a contrived plot in tow. Ugh.

I'm getting Oceans12 in the mail, this week, from my online blockbuster rental. It's got Brad Pitt... what more needs be said?! Sure, it's probably a lame movie... but, I still want to see it.
