I am planning a trip to Vegas for my birthday next month with just the guys, no wives or girlfriends are invited.

Some of my pals are getting crap from their significant others about HECK and his boys going to Vegas without them.

My girlfriend never said I couldn't go, exactly, but she has made it quite clear it's not her favorite idea.

Bottom line: I am going and hopefully the majority of my peeps can make it.

Should I be allowed to go? Should I catch hell for doing so?

I leave it up to my trusted INR brethren.

Sure, some of my friends aren't exactly the most, um, monogamous fellows you've ever met, but that's neither here nor there. Plus, those in question already said they just want to go out and party, not run after chicks. We're not even going to a strip club... probably.

First off... Heck! Are YOU a monogamous person? Also, will this cause a problem with you and your lady? If it's going to cause a huge problem, I would recommend you rethink things. There isn't anything wrong, in my opinion, with people going on seperate vacations... but, if it's going to be something that you do in order to screw around... I just wouldn't recommend it.

Going to Vegas, with friends, is a great thing. But, you don't want your lady there too? Is there a reason why the guys all want to go alone? Are they going to do things that are a big 'no no'????

Just go and enjoy yourself it's your birthday and you should celebrate it however you damn well want with whoever you damn well want.

Oh Heck, I think that you should go!!! I just said what I did because it's fun to tease you. And, because you said what you did about your friends. Not the best influence, if they wanna cheat on their women!!! I don't want to see illuminate hurt, that's all.

And ICB is right. There isn't anything wrong with going to doing seperate things. We all need that. I went to Colorado for a week, last month, without my partner.

I'd go, but make sure she is at least tepid to the idea. If she hates it then you could be in some trouble when you come home.
