Will Wright's coming out with a new procedural game late this year called Spore. You start out as a unicellular organism and evolve it into whatever you want. Then you move to the civilization era and evolve the culture and society of your creature. Eventually, you can travel to other planets with a UFO-thing that's powerful enough to destroy planets if you so choose. (Death Star!)
The preview's 35 minutes long, but it's well worth it to watch, so sit back and be amazed..

Wow, that game does sound quite interesting indeed.

The 'video' with this guy talking is dull.... but, it looks rather interesting.
