Okay, I bought this for my mother yesterday and went over and watched it with her. She has become hooked on the serious in the past year. First of all, what's up with the $13.99 version and the super duper $22.99 version? DAMMIT. Like I could get my mom the regular one, I would never hear the end of it. So there goes $25. THANKS HARRY POTTER!

Anyway, I got there at about the part where HP was picked to be in that tournament and Ron was acting a fool. I read the first few pages of this book a few years back and remember a little bit so I wasn't totally lost.

But when Harry was fighting the dragon, why did his broom show up? I thought he couldn't use it?

More importantly, how/why was Voldemort a little fetus looking thing. Last I saw he was some kid in a book. Then the rat dude from the last movie shows up and drops him in this stew and he comes out. Wha?

Also, where was Gary Oldman, at the start?

And frenchie's son was one of Voldemort's peeps, I get that. He was just trying to get HP into the graveyard, wherever that is, so fetus Voldemort could grow again? Why not just kidnap him in the first place, why go through the trouble of using this long tournament? Also, so is the glam rocker looking dad of that pissy little wuss boy Malfoy a bad guy?

GOF Heck, not GOB.

They could go into the arena armed with only their wands. THey could use their wand to do whatever they thought of, so Harry used a summoning charm to bring the broom to him.

The last we saw of Voldie poo he was on the back of Squirrells head. He fled when Quirrell was dying. He was reduced once again to a spiritless type thing. Wormtail found him and fed him, used whatever he could to beef him up.

Wormtail returned to Voldemort after the last movie. Voldemort used an ancient spell to come back to his body, needing the blood of an enemy (harry) which also negated the Lily effect making him able to touch him. The bone of his father unknowingly given , and the flesh of a servant willingly given.

Why kidnap him, well Voldemort was not strong enough to steal Harry from Hogwarts. Dumbledore is still the most powerful wizard. He was able by using the portkey/trophy to wisk Harry away and become human again before Dumbledore knew what happened.

Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) is in hiding with the hippogryiff Buckbeak. He came into the fire to talk to Harry, but he is a wanted man.

But didn't Voldey turn to dust and dissappear when he was on the back of that Squierrel guys head?

Nope. His spirit is linked here. He can't die. That is why there are seven books.

Pretty drawn out plan though.

What was the deal with the dude at the start and the snake cloud?

The "snake cloud" is the dark mark.. which is Voldemorts 'calling card' so to speak. It's what is put up in the air, by him, and his death eaters, to show that they are there, and going to kill.
