'Goblet' fifth biggest film internationally

The fourth Harry Potter movie has accumulated over $600m in international box office sales, making it the fifth highest-grossing film outside North America. The top five are:

1. Titanic ($1.2bn)
2. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King ($752m)
3. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone ($657m)
4. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets ($616m)
5. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire ($600m)

The film collected $91m in Japan, $84m in the UK, $62m in Germany, $55m in France, $26m in Australia, $23m in Spain and $21m in Mexico.

With North American tickets sales included, GOF has earned a total of $888m and is eighth on the list of the top films ever.

I would have thought it would have beaten those other 2 ... as the Harry Potter fans grow ... but those figures say that it is declining ... perhaps DVD sales would say otherwise

Well, I think that it's also been out in the theatre much less of a time. The others were out a lot longer than three months. So, if you look at it that way, it's actually kicking serious butt!!!

It's out on dvd in one week. The other HP films didn't come out just four months after it's premier.
