Commenting on the progress of Book 7 in her diary:

This always happens. I make a plan, it looks nice and neat, then I get to actually write the book and realise that Harry can't possibly do all that in just one chapter. So what I thought were going to be two chapters have now become four. I still don't think the book will be as long as 'Phoenix', but if that keeps happening... no, it won't. I'm looking at the plan, and it can't. Surely. Please.

Additionally, in her Rubbish Bin section Jo cleared up a rumor published in a recent news article.

Yay, that means shes putting lots in finformation or action into it, either way it makes the book more interesting

I think she is adding information. I can't wait to read that book!

Exactly... I think that she's putting more info in there, and giving it more detail. It's going to be an amazing, yet sad, book. I can't wait.

Calm down ... Everyone is so quick today ... It was a mystake, yes 7 is the last, she is writing the last book now

She'd be a fool to not at least write more in the HP universe.

It doesnt change that often, dont worry. ... Im confused about this issue ... read so many rumours, either she may write something like what happens to all the characters, but i think that was a runour .... plus i think she may do that at the end of book 7 ... on the other hand i think i remember reading that she said she won't write any books about HP after the 7th

I think if the price is right she will. Wonder if she would ever let someone else take over the series.

doubt that ... but she has all the money that anyone would want, or be able to spend ... it would have to be a big price, or for charity, like those red nose books

She really doesn't want to write any more HP after the 7th book.

And, I believe that the 7th book is set to be released on 7/7/07.
