| Posted by: Lawless | | Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, that's great! I wasn't 100% sure that he was facing it and seeing his past within it. Question is, what did he see? He's never discussed it, so did he see what we saw, or just a black 'thing' in front of him?
That's a great thought, that it's lost souls inside of it... | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Pippin | | Wow, thanks!! That one that you couldn't match looks like a woman. Anyone remember a woman in Ekko's past?
Again, thanks, this is cool. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Lawless | | Pippin... no, I don't remember a woman in his past! Did they show one on his "back story" night? I'm scratching my head on this, and I just can't remember!!! | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Pippin | | I'd say that maybe it's the Virgin Mary statue, but it looks like there is a design on her dress. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Lawless | | Yeah, you're right... it's hard to see. But, it looks more human than statue. Who knows... anything is possible. Maybe we will get some more to that when they give us his next bit of back story. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: dorkySar27 | | I was reading a spoiler;
Eko facing off against the 'monster' is a big deal in terms of the series because he's the only person - next to Locke - who has seen the 'monster' and has lived to tell the tale! Only with Eko, it was a different kind of encounter. That is something that the fans can expect to see bear fruit in future episodes. It's a hugely important thing, but won't necessarily be revealed immediately. [...] What you're going to see with Eko is that he has his own destiny on the island, and of all the characters, he has the most direct connection to the island because of the Nigerian drug plane.
Okay, so I still believe that the Island captures souls. And if so, Eko is very connected to the island because his brother died on the island. All the images (i think) are related to his brother. Maybe his brother is a part of that monster. He wasn't afraid of it, and it didn't hurt him.
Just rambeling.... | | Reply To this Message
