This game came out in the mid 90's and only works on DOS/9x machines....I tried installing on my NT and > architectures and it crapped out. In fact the PC *dinged* every 2 seconds as a warning. But at least it showed up in Add/remove programs...anyway....it's worth building a 9x machine for this...

The graphics are unheard of...in fact I must say better than any today...live footage, etc. Bought this at a spy store (yes Denver had a spy store in 2 locations...a bone fide real spy store...this was the only 'toy' there. They have since closed it.

A synopsis:

Danger and Deception in the New World Order

Spycraft: The Great Game

Enter the World of International Intrigue.
It's you against faceless enemies in a rush to unravel a high-level assassination plot. Arm yourself with authentic spy tools (Intelink, Comlink, Datalink, Weblink, Newslink), high-tech weapons and professional skills true to CIA operations. Then confront realistic global scenarios...where decisions you make determine the balance of world power.

Unprececedented Collaboration:

William Colby (former CIA Director) and Oleg Kalugin (former KGB Major General) reveal secrets from the "great game" of espionage.

Authentic Spy Thriller:

Master the tools of a CIA operative, surveil double agents and intercept radio transmissions to infiltrate a web of rogue spies.

Unrivaled Production Values:

Stunning computer-generated graphics, 35mm film, actual CIA footage and dozens of Hollywood actors portray the danger and intrigue.

Portions or most of this game is used for CIA field training.

What is really cool about it...is that there are several endgames...several directions this game goes depending on your choices and skill. Completely interactive with your actions and choices.

No 'game' yet has ever compared to this one.

I remember playing this years ago. I wasn't really a fan, but then I probably would've gotten into it more if I had more time back then...
