Okay... I just rewatched last nights ep of Lost. After getting through it, and seeing the previews for next week, I just have one thing to say!!!

ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME THAT SOMEONE LET THE CLOCK RUN DOWN TO ZERO!

I wonder what's going to happen!!!

Reply To this Message

Posted by: illuminate

i doubt anything will happen. and wait, is Rousseau that french lady? She's back? Whatever happened to her? And Desmond, where did he run off to?

The following was posted by Reverend Meteor on another forum.

Not sure if anyone here noticed this during the preview.

Okay here is the counter from the preview.

http://www.thetailsection.com/uploaded_images/oneofthempreview211nq-703345.jpg

Now this one is the one we have seen all season.

http://www.thetailsection.com/uploaded_images/lost.con.counter-779751.jpg

See the difference? The first one has just has 3 placeholders...the second one has 5 placeholders.

Either this is not the same counter (less likely) or that preview was misleading because the shot simply wasn't wide enough to show the placeholders for the seconds (more likely).

We've been duped.

I think the Reverend is right.

OH MAN! I never noticed that! Damn it They are always messing with us.

I think that just means there's another hatch...

Or it's in someone's DREAM. Remember when the preview showed Jin speaking English, but Hurley was just dreaming? I HATE when they do that.

Reply To this Message

Posted by: Lawless

Oh, good point. Though, would they do the same thing, twice?

It would leave me wondering, if it were another hatch... why isn't someone in there, doing numbers?

No matter what, I just hope that it's an interesting episode. I'm bummed, personally, because it just hasn't been THAT good this season. *sigh*

this is the spoiler thread.

On the night the shows airs,

You are allowed to post whenever you want, regardless of the time zone you are in,

as long as you post in this thread.

The members on the west coast will know not to check this thread, till the show has aired, so it won't be ruined for them.

You can post in any thread you want, or start threads with spoiler titles*, after 10 p.m. Pacific standard time.

Which is:

11 pm mountain

12 pm central

and 1:00 am east coast.

*spoiler titles like "Locke went down the hatch and found a monkey!!!", etc.

And of course, you can still post in any thread you want, at any time that night, as long as it doesn't contain spoilers

Well it sounds interesting tonight. At least it's not another flashback episode.

Hopefully, they don't let the clock count down to zero, during the last 5 seconds of the show. I want some answers!!!

You know, my friend who loaned me her season one dvd's told me, yesterday, that if they don't start giving us answers, a lot of people are going to stop watching the show. She said that she will be one of them.

Personally... I won't stop watching, but I won't be happy. They need to start giving us a little more, because they keep piling more on top of us.

I hope that they don't have the clock hit "0" and then we find it's from another hatch, or whatever.

Well, I enjoyed tonight a lot.

Sayid's back story was interesting, and Kates dad was his captor. And the bad guy from Highlander was his second captor.

Those were cool flashbacks.

As for the timer, and the COPOUT, for about 5 seconds there, with all those red symbols flashing, and Armageddon about to start, I was all, "this is so cool, I can't believe they are showing this",

then the copout "enter button" that fixes it all, even though the time was up.

I got angry over that.

I wonder if the frog Sawyer smashed is a poison frog?

And they didn't say "next week", they said, "coming up on Lost".

That makes me think a re-run is in store for us next week.

Overall though, a better than average episode. That actor who plays Sayid is good at his craft.

---Whizzle

p.s. Sandy June called the guy being Kates dad. I knew he looked familiar, but forgot about him till she said something. Then he had Kates pic, and it confirmed it.

Yeah, what were those pictures?
There was a cane-looking thing, a flame looking thing, a bird and a stick-looking thing. hmmmmmmm. Five pictures, maybe the 5 hatches? Aren't there 5 experiments? Maybe not, don't remember. They keep hinting how all these people are somehow intertwined but they need to get more specific dammit. I'm getting tired of not getting answers too!

But i won't stop watching.

I can't believe Sawyer killed that frog. He's psycho. so the only way they can explain hurley's NOT losing weight is he's dunking his head in ranch... figures.

I officially hate Sawyer now. He killed that poor little tree frog. What a jerk.

After last night's episode I am really pissed with Sawyer. Up until now I saw him as a loveable con man who had a heart of gold and was totally midunderstood. Now I see him as a cruel
s.o.b. What other reason could he possibly have for crushing the frog in his hand like that? Kate's going to hate him too.

Sawyer is a complete and total jerk. Hurley should have walked away. Screw Sawyer and his "blackmail" techniques. I would have kicked Sawyer's ass, personally. A little frog needed to be killed because it bothered his sleep? JERK OFF!!!!

I was NOT happy with the whole time clock thing. What a load of crap. Is the ever going to be a time where we just get some real answers?????

Oh, and I'm fricken SICK AND TIRED of Jack. He is NOT in charge. Someone lock HIM in the vault, and smack him around a few times.

You know, one thing I just noticed, rewatching it, what I thought was background music or sound effects,

was the sound of some machinery starting up. (during the red symbols number flip)

I guess it was that electro magnet at work.

Reply To this Message

Posted by: Lawless

We noticed that too... and wondered what in the world it was.

Could it be a noise to make them THINK that something is getting ready to explode, or something?

Reply To this Message

Posted by: Whidden

I think it's that magnet powering up, and the blast doors that Sayid saw in the hallway cieling, or maybe it was mr. Ekko that saw them,

getting ready to blow down and then......?

Reply To this Message

Posted by: fuscia

When the clock ran down, I think it sounded like the hatch was going into lockdown mode- doors closing, stuff like that.

Jack pisses me off! He is NOT in charge, and he needs to get that message stamped across his sorry butt.

Good for Locke helping Sayed. I DO think the captive is an other. He is evil lookin'

IF I were Hurley, I would go over every freakin' night and make that tree frog noise in the jungle by Sawyer's tent just to drive him insane.

Well, if I were Hurley, I would look for more of those frogs, and bring them near Sawyers tent, over and over, until that jerk had a breakdown!!!

I think Jack is pretty much in charge. At least more than anybody else. My question is for Locke. First Sawyer told him to re-hide the guns. And he did it. Than Sayid told him to change the locks where the guns are stored. And again, he did it. If anybody is NOT in charge, it's Locke. It appears he just does what he's told like a good little robot.

Am I looking at the right signs? They don't look sinister to me at all. The one on the far right looks a little like a rocket ship. That could be significant but it doesn't have a sinister look. The one next to the "rocket ship" is definitely a bird. Next to that one could be a sailboat or possibly a flame. The next one is too dark. I can't see it at all. And I can't really make much of the one on the far left. I don't see the sinister element.

Reply To this Message

Posted by: Whidden

It seemed sinister because of the red color, and the dramatic music in the background, and the sound effects of the electro magnet, or whateve it was, powering up.

Reply To this Message

Posted by: Kerry02

This show just blows my mind. There's just so much to take in.
Whidden mentions the sinister music in the background and the sound of something powering up just at the same time we are first seeing the "signs." I don't even remember the music or the other background sounds. I'm probably missing tons of things that other people are seeing because it amounts to overload for me. In reading this board, I realize that you all are seeing lots of things that I don't even remember.

I didn't catch it till the second time I watched it. Sounds like a big turbine engine powering up, and some clanking noises,

like that something big underneath them is starting up to do something.

Reply To this Message

Posted by: Kerry02

But nothing happened, did it? And I bet we won't find out in the next episode either. I'm totally hooked on this show, but I'm totally frustrated with it too. I'd really love some answers. One of the things that really puzzled me is how Jack and Kate could have shared that lovely kiss but never mention it again. Or did they mention it again and I just missed it?

Reply To this Message

Posted by: Whidden

Jack got mad at her for goofing up the search party, by her getting captured by the others, after he told her not to go.

So, they havn't really talked at all for a long time now.

Reply To this Message

Posted by: Lawless

Well, that's because Jack is perfect, and Kate isn't, and so, he's going to let her know it. Don't agree with it... but, that's what it seems like.

Reply To this Message

Don't forget in Sawyers "delirium" he said "I love her" and that Kate showed a lot of extra love and attention to Sawyer when he was sick. I mentioned previously that after seeing the con man side of Sawyer at work I think he just said that for Jack's benefit. Also, Kate ran off after the kiss looking dazed and confused.
Sawyer and Jack both have not been very lovable lately in different ways. I think Sawyer would have to do some huge selfless act for us to like him again. Give his life for someone maybe.

They lucked out. What madman would schedule something at 9pm on a Wednesday?

they did the same thing last season. Very hard show to watch. If I had any will power at all, I would skip the whole season and wait for it on DVD,

and watch it all in one go. That would ROCK.

But I won't, I need to see it now, so I will wait. They really do suck at getting these out on time. Pathetic. I understand it's hard and all that, but why even take a summer break, just go ahead and film year round.

Make it happen.
