What's better, West Coast or East Coast?

For me it's the Left Coast, all the way.

California has it all right away. From San Diego to San Fran, Los Angeles, Hollywood, Palm Springs, Big Bear Mountain, lakes, snow, mountains, desert. Cali alone beats down the whole East Coast.

Plus Vegas is on our side, too. Eat that East Coasters.

West coast, baby.... I'm a Cali girl, through and through!!!

We have it all. Living in San Diego, I'm in perfect weather, year round. I'm a 45 min drive to the mountains, and a 10 min drive to the beach.

If we are talking RAP here...which is where east vs west coast originated, officially...
I have to go with East coast, without a doubt! Compton ain't got nothing on the New York/Long Island homies. and I mean nothing! East coast old school was/is intelligent....West coast is nothing but a bunch of whiny biitches with penises.

As far as living is concerned. Definitely west coast.

Hmmm, those are two completely different worlds. If i had to pick, I'd say west coast only b/c i've grown up here, but the east coast offers SO MUCH as well.

I go to the east coast to get my fix every once in a while, but living 10 minutes from the beach is heavenly, I must admit.

well... I can't say I've actually ever been to the West Coast... but this is my home, so I voted East.

West Coast, all the way. I've been to many of the East Coast states and each time I came running back home. One time I saw a Massachusetts little league game get "rained out" from sprinkling

In Oregon you can spend time at the beach, then drive an hour and play in the snow on one of our mountains, then drive a few more hours and explore the desert, and for most of the drive you'll be in beautiful forested areas that are VERY green from all the rain. When I was in Ireland I couldn't believe how much the island looked like Oregon, only with less trees.

Plus in the Northwest you'll find the nicest, most helpful people I know. And it's SO QUIET here. When I was in Massachusetts, New York, and Virginia I couldn't sleep for the noise because I was so used to the quietness of the NW.

And like all the Cali people have said--if you feel like a change of pace from Oregon and Washington, there are plenty of fun things to do in California

Oh, yeah. Another good thing about the West Coast: according to Trust for America's Health, all states in the USA increased in weight except Oregon.

California is heaven. Less smokers, less humidity, less snow, and we have Disneyland!

West coast. For all the above reasons plus we got Hawaii. (extreme west coast)

The closest ive ever been to the east coast is Dayton Ohio. The entire west coast kicks butt on Dayton with the exception of Oakland and Oxnard

I will not come to a decision until I have lived on the West Coast. That might be happening soon, so I'll definitely have a response later on. But as of now, I think the East is the best, more specifically the Northeast, and even more specific, the NY/NJ area.

I have lived on West, and East coast. I didn't much care for Florida. But, I LOVED N. Carolina. It was so beautiful.

But, I'm still a West coaster. We have it all here, except for snow! Well, in San Diego we don't. But, a 45 min drive east, and you're in the mountains, 6000 ft in elevation, and playing in the snow.
