| Personally, I think it's ABOUT TIME someone was clever and calculated. The "army" that Jack wants to lead is going to fall flat on their face if they march in firing. They need to be prepared to outsmart the enemy, that's the only way they can win. Sawyer has proven to be the most clever person on the island, and they're going to need him in order to have a chance.
Anna is intuitive, brave, and tough as hell. Sawyer is sly, intelligent, and strong. Jack is a fighter with healing abilities. Kate is sly and tough. Sayid is a warrior, with adept electronic skills. Locke is wise, tough, and he can navigate.
Imagine them all on the same side, fighting for the group, not for themselves?
And what ever happened to that "HWH"? Do you suppose they've been chipping away at that 12 feet of concrete, or that we'll see what's behind it?
What about the image of a compeltely different timer?
