Valentine's Day poll- how do you celebrate

Cards

we normally get cards and go out to eat. This year, I think it might be a movie if we can get a sitter.

I went overboard, and had an AMAZING Valentine, with my ex, Heidi, several years ago. But, I've never done much since. It's just another day, for me, personally.

Before we had kids, Ron used to get me flowers, but it was the little cards on the flowers that meant so much. I still have them.

I had more fun this year helping Damon pick out Valentines for his class. He picked out these dog and cat ones that if you tilt them they look like the animal has moved closer to you. Very cool.

Now now. These are for six year olds. They have to be at least 10 to get into the pirates.

I chose "stay in for some romance" since there was no option for "have sex". Though we usually go to a movie and have dinner. It's usually not that romantic, since I pick the most violent movie playing at the time.

i don't really celebrate it, as i've never had a girlfriend to celebrate it with. meh. :-/

however, my parents do give me some candy. mmmmm

I've usually been taken out to dinner or have been cooked for. And I give and receive cards. Some years I've gotten flowers. I'd rather get flowers more often during the year than on just valentines day. but, i'll take it. I used to hate it and celebrate it as S.A.D. = Single Awareness Day.
But now I still hate it, but it's a bit more fun.

I like getting those little heart shaped candy deals with the writing on them that taste like chalk, toothpaste and sugar. I can eat those in bulk.

BLECK! I can't stand those things, Heck! When I was a kid, I loved 'em... now, they just taste crappy to me.
