I hear people like him and I don't understand it. Everytime I see his face on the screen, saying that irratating "Can you hear me Now?",

I want to SLAP A HAIRLIP ON EM.

I would love to b!tch slap him... I'm so sick and tired of seeing his commercials.

I like the Verizon guy! He's kind of cute in a nerdy way, but entirely too short.

If these commercials don't come on during 24....then I wouldn't see them.
In fact I mute the sound during the commercials of 24 anyway.

Do NOT call me between 7-8pm on Mondays....57 minutes away.

I don't take calls during Lost, AI or Grey's Anatomy.

BUT YOU COULD HEAR ME, RIGHT?

You will be able to hear my fist slamming into his goofy face, I will guarantee you that.

But he doesn't talk in the commericals anymore. He just holds up a sign and smiles.

I am really really pissed.

24 is showing at 8pm tonight! Will they ever set a time and day, EVER?

I was planning on a 9pm nighty night. But NOOOOO!
There is no way I will go to sleep immediately after 24. I need an hour to wind down.



What is this woosy skating thing in 24's place?

And is ok at it from the one fox special on it I seen.


I would love for her to box the verison wireless guy. I'd pay to see that, let me assure you.

The Verizon guy isn't nearly as annoying as former fatso Jared from Subway. That's a guy I'd take a sock full of quarters to.

I actually hate Capital One commercials, I will never get a Capital One credit card.

they are too violent, always someone getting hurt or tortured in those Capital One ads.

I like my violence in shows like 24 or BattleStar Galactica, not in commericals.

They're like Three Stooges violent though. I just think they're lame, regardless. Some fat dude falling down is only funny for so long. That's where there were THREE Stooges.

Commercials will never go away, unfortunately. Maybe in the conventional sense, but not entirely.

With television, we have to remember, we are watching commercials that are interrupted by programs. Imagine a box in your living room that does nothing but show you things you can buy 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Would you watch it? Probably not. What if there was entertaining programing on for 23 minutes every half hour? Sure, I'd watch. That's television. You have to reverse the process. Commercials pay for TV programs.

As more and more people are using TiVO and DVR, skipping commercials, more programs are using digital product placements. The less people watch commercials, the more prodcut placements will overrun our shows and pretty soon people are going to start acting like The Truman Show.
