this is the spoiler thread.

On the night the shows airs,

You are allowed to post whenever you want, regardless of the time zone you are in,

as long as you post in this thread.

The members on the west coast will know not to check this thread, till the show has aired, so it won't be ruined for them.

You can post in any thread you want, or start threads with spoiler titles*, after 10 p.m. Pacific standard time.

Which is:

11 pm mountain

12 pm central

and 1:00 am east coast.

*spoiler titles like "Locke went down the hatch and found a monkey!!!", etc.

And of course, you can still post in any thread you want, at any time that night, as long as it doesn't contain spoilers

I liked it, but the story didn't really advance at all.

I think Libby is WAY WAY too hot for Hurley. I think I'm in Love with Libby now.

She is way too hot for me too, but if Hurley can make his moves, then she might want to upgrade.

I just hope the drunk driving junk don't get her fired from the show. I'd like to see more Libby storyline.

Yeah I was more interested in Hurley and Libby getting it on than seeing more of Charlie's struggle with driveshaft, drugs, and his deal with Claire and the baby. I bet they wait another year to touch up on Charlie since they've pretty much sucked that story line dry.

Was it just me or did this episode seem compeltely out of place?

EDIT: I did enjoy seeing Locke beat the snot out of Charlie though, that was nice.

Can I ask a question? Has the guy who plays Hurley GAINED weight this season?

This has been a boring episode for me this week. I just wasn't happy with having to watch all this stuff on Charlie. But, I think that there is something to it. I love seeing Locke knock him around a few times too. But, I wonder if something is going to happen to the baby now, and what will happen when it does. Will Charlie be laid to blame?

I think the others will come for baby Aaron. Charlie will initially be blamed, and then most likely Locke will tell them that it was not him.

Hurley looks like he is heavier. You can see it in his face.

The episode was pretty boring, but I think the key things in it were:

Charlie's first dream- on his hand was written FATE and the baby went out to sea. Well, Walt went out to sea and we know that he is with the Zeke crew now.

The baptism. Both Claire and the baby were baptised, so it makes me wonder, on the other hand, if the others will not want them because they were baptised.

As you can see, I have no clue.

Hurley has definately gained weight. Which is silly. If you're on a strict fish/fruit diet you're probably gonna lose weight. There aren't any McDonalds on the island. And Hurley walks as much if not more than anyone else there. He should be nice and lean by now. It'd be cool if, for the sake of the show he actually went on a serious diet... kind of like what Tom Hanks did for castaway.

EXACTLY!! They need to spend a little money and make him be on a VERY strick diet, and exercise regime.

I agree about Hurley. We need to see at least a noticable loss of weight.

Nice David.

I definitely think they are all in a "fish bowl". I think the others can see everything they are doing. There might be certain areas that they can hide where the others can't see them.

What about Ana Lucia asking Jack "ya hittin' that?".

I don't think that the others know the truth about everything. I think that they either ended up on the island, and have been there a long time, and know much more than our group, or, they are the scientist that we're somehow left (abandoned) there, to fend for themselves.

WHY did Locke hide the heroin in the lockup with the guns?

WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I can think of no reason to do that whatsoever.

I was thinking the same damn thing, Dave. What purpose does keeping the heroin around, serve? I personally would have destroyed every single cumble of that crap. Is he keeping it so that if something happens, he can "plant" it somewhere and blame poor Charlie?

Oh, and why did hobbit boy have the exact same style of dream vision that Locke did?

(the repeating of certain phrases in a spooky way).

Remember that Locke had the waking dream, where his mom pointed at the sky and said something about walking up the stairs and down the stairs.

It creeped the tar outta me at the time, I remember that.

Are the whisper people/voices sending these dreams?

I have no reason why he did it, cept that when he was putting his water in the backpack talking to Claire, he looked in the bag like an idea hit him, or he saw something strange.

I don't know who's causing it, but it's freaky!!!!

It's almost like they are inside some spiritual realm, of good and bad.

I wonder... could Boone and Shannon have been set free from it, and once the whole thing ends, they are all arriving in Los Angeles?

Actually, I think that he was thinking that he could show her what he found, or, he could not allow her to know what Charlie had, therefore, protecting Charlie, and not tainting Claire's views of him, even worse.

Or maybe in his back story, we will see that he is a Heroin addict as well.

Now that would absolutely shock me if that were the case.
I think that he's got a reason for what he's done... I just don't get it.

I don't know but I would think the heroine might be useful in some way. It was weird. I didn't like Locke much in this episode.

I liked Locke, it was Charlie I didn't like.

What is useful about heroin? Can it be used for medical purposes? And, if it can, shouldn't Jack be made aware of it?

Oh, and why is it okay that Locke has the opportunity to get into the room with the guns, and change the code, and no one else can? He needs to be brought down a few pegs, in my eyes, for this. And it looks like Jack is going to blow his lid, next week, over this.

The heroin will be useful for injuries to treat pain. Jack can use it, but Locke should have gone to him and given it to Jack.

I also think that Locke is getting too cocky.

I would put it on blow darts and pop the others in the neck with it.

Or use it to interogate them with. I dunno.

Hey, that's a great idea.... get the others high on heroin, and take over the island!

That would be funny, but wouldn't happen, or Locke would have said, "Now Charlie, I know I said you could have it back after asking three times, but hows about we give you a couple more chances, eh?"

I think that Charlie got a little bit of the 'sickness,' and that's why he had those weird dreams without taking any drugs.

I think that Hurley recognized Libby from the mental hospital. She is/was a clinical psychologist, and could have worked at the mental hospital Hurley either worked at or was a patient at.

You are so sharp Pippin. I was saying during the show that it may be the sickness. I can't figure out any other reason he would act like that unless he was using.

Reply To this Message

Posted by: Lawless

But, what is that sickness, truly? Something on the island, that targets certain people?

Reply To this Message

Posted by: EleanorRigby

maybe the sickness has to with babies. the crazy frech lady had a baby, and claire has a baby. i say make the dog eat the baby, and all will be well.

The Dingo ate your baby!
Julia Louis-Dreyfus: "Maybe the dingo ate your baby."

Woman: "What?"

That was the name of a band in Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I don't think eating babies would be good for Vincent. I bet they'd give him indigestion, or something.
