| Posted by: Sayzak | | Yeah I was more interested in Hurley and Libby getting it on than seeing more of Charlie's struggle with driveshaft, drugs, and his deal with Claire and the baby. I bet they wait another year to touch up on Charlie since they've pretty much sucked that story line dry.
Was it just me or did this episode seem compeltely out of place?
EDIT: I did enjoy seeing Locke beat the snot out of Charlie though, that was nice. | | Reply To this Message

|
| Posted by: Lawless | | This has been a boring episode for me this week. I just wasn't happy with having to watch all this stuff on Charlie. But, I think that there is something to it. I love seeing Locke knock him around a few times too. But, I wonder if something is going to happen to the baby now, and what will happen when it does. Will Charlie be laid to blame? | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | I think the others will come for baby Aaron. Charlie will initially be blamed, and then most likely Locke will tell them that it was not him.
Hurley looks like he is heavier. You can see it in his face.
The episode was pretty boring, but I think the key things in it were:
Charlie's first dream- on his hand was written FATE and the baby went out to sea. Well, Walt went out to sea and we know that he is with the Zeke crew now.
The baptism. Both Claire and the baby were baptised, so it makes me wonder, on the other hand, if the others will not want them because they were baptised.
As you can see, I have no clue. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Sayzak | | Hurley has definately gained weight. Which is silly. If you're on a strict fish/fruit diet you're probably gonna lose weight. There aren't any McDonalds on the island. And Hurley walks as much if not more than anyone else there. He should be nice and lean by now. It'd be cool if, for the sake of the show he actually went on a serious diet... kind of like what Tom Hanks did for castaway. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Lawless | | EXACTLY!! They need to spend a little money and make him be on a VERY strick diet, and exercise regime. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Lawless | | I don't think that the others know the truth about everything. I think that they either ended up on the island, and have been there a long time, and know much more than our group, or, they are the scientist that we're somehow left (abandoned) there, to fend for themselves. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Lawless | | I was thinking the same damn thing, Dave. What purpose does keeping the heroin around, serve? I personally would have destroyed every single cumble of that crap. Is he keeping it so that if something happens, he can "plant" it somewhere and blame poor Charlie? | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Whidden | | Oh, and why did hobbit boy have the exact same style of dream vision that Locke did?
(the repeating of certain phrases in a spooky way).
Remember that Locke had the waking dream, where his mom pointed at the sky and said something about walking up the stairs and down the stairs.
It creeped the tar outta me at the time, I remember that.
Are the whisper people/voices sending these dreams? | | Reply To this Message

I have no reason why he did it, cept that when he was putting his water in the backpack talking to Claire, he looked in the bag like an idea hit him, or he saw something strange.

| Posted by: Lawless | | I don't know who's causing it, but it's freaky!!!!
It's almost like they are inside some spiritual realm, of good and bad.
I wonder... could Boone and Shannon have been set free from it, and once the whole thing ends, they are all arriving in Los Angeles? | | Reply To this Message

Actually, I think that he was thinking that he could show her what he found, or, he could not allow her to know what Charlie had, therefore, protecting Charlie, and not tainting Claire's views of him, even worse.

| Posted by: Sandy June | | I don't know but I would think the heroine might be useful in some way. It was weird. I didn't like Locke much in this episode. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Lawless | | What is useful about heroin? Can it be used for medical purposes? And, if it can, shouldn't Jack be made aware of it?
Oh, and why is it okay that Locke has the opportunity to get into the room with the guns, and change the code, and no one else can? He needs to be brought down a few pegs, in my eyes, for this. And it looks like Jack is going to blow his lid, next week, over this. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | The heroin will be useful for injuries to treat pain. Jack can use it, but Locke should have gone to him and given it to Jack.
I also think that Locke is getting too cocky. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Whidden | | I would put it on blow darts and pop the others in the neck with it.
Or use it to interogate them with. I dunno. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Lawless | | Hey, that's a great idea.... get the others high on heroin, and take over the island! | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Sandy June | | You are so sharp Pippin. I was saying during the show that it may be the sickness. I can't figure out any other reason he would act like that unless he was using. | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: Lawless | | But, what is that sickness, truly? Something on the island, that targets certain people? | | Reply To this Message
|
| Posted by: EleanorRigby | | maybe the sickness has to with babies. the crazy frech lady had a baby, and claire has a baby. i say make the dog eat the baby, and all will be well. | | Reply To this Message

The Dingo ate your baby!
Julia Louis-Dreyfus: "Maybe the dingo ate your baby."
Woman: "What?"
Louis-Dreyfus: "The dingo ate your baby."

I don't think eating babies would be good for Vincent. I bet they'd give him indigestion, or something. | | Reply To this Message
