| Media Play is closing much to my chagrin...and have been having a huge sale...so I blow my wad on every occasion to take advantage of such an opportunity.
In one such large purchase I bought Depeche Modes latest "Playing the Angel."
It should have been called "Playing the Demon."
It is apparent that Martin Gore, the real Depeche Mode behind the synths, is struggling with some heavy duty internal demons....however, it is sad to say that he has taken them to another level that I must say is very disturbing.
The only song of worth on this CD is 'Precious.'
I will be selling this CD back to a used CD/DVD store at the earliest opportunity! | |
