In May , 2000 demonstrators were fired on by goverment troops and Uzbekistan media was ordered to shut down by President Karimov to prevent story to get out. The dead, 500 was reported were laid in front of the American embassy.

The United Nations needs to investigate this Tienanmen Square sh incident. I understand why John Bolton is hired know.

America does not train Uzbek troops where did you get this idea from?
There were a small number of troops in Uzbek but they have been withdrawn as Unzbek/US realtions get worse. The US trrops used Uzbekistan to gain access to one of it's neigbours namely Agghanistan.
Trust me Malcoklm the US had nothing to do with this terrible incident. Which FYI has not been ignored and the UN and OECD are looking into it.

Can anything be said negative against US Foreign Policy? You move anything that is critical toward it.

Malcolm, in all fairness, in your post you only mentioned The United Nations, nothing about the US or its foreign policy. Just connect the dots on how it relates and it won't be moved.

Feel free to speak negatively on any topic you wish, we all just have to stay on topic.

I'm sure that gaboman could care less what's said toward US Foreign policy. He's from Australia, and lives in Taiwan.

In fact, the more negative things you say about the U.S. Foreign Policy, the better. It fuels my supposed anti-Americanism

Malcolm, ah, are you confusing the Chinese protests in Tiananmen Square in 1989 with Uzbekistan????

You are muddling incidents here....have no idea what in the world you are talking about here. Please give the facts...

I think he meant Tienanmen Square-ish incident.

Though the two incidents, in my view, are nothing alike.

Goverment killing innocent citizens for political reasons and shutting down media to prevent truth from coming out. Am I correct?
