I just found this guys ideas on another sight. There is speculation Dr. Candle is on the island somewhere still and that he has the disease if there is one. I just watched the film again. He says even worse if you use the computer for anything but entering the numbers there could be another incident .
The "even worse" part meant that if they try to communicate with the outside world they could commprimise the project. But the incident would be even worse than commprimising the project. He also said the hatch they are in is hatch number 3. Therefore, there is one more hatch we don't know about or is that where Danielle is?

I just watched the first film again. You all may already know this but I just realized he said that they have to push the button because of the incident that accured not long after the project started. So they are pushing the button to prevent another incident. Maybe the magnatism pulled a plane out of the sky and a ship out of the sea?

I am going to magnet you in a minute.

Can I video tape that? Is it something that we can send in to LOST, and maybe make some money off of?

I don't think we will see him on the show anymore though, unless they do some major makeup work. they would have to put 25 years on him to get his current age.

I was flipping channels, and saw the actor who plays him on one of those law and order shows, or CSI shows. He is a spooky looking fellow.

I remembered a bible quote about this, so I searched and found it.

Man, this show is just like the Matrix, throwing levels and levels of subtle side issues at you, most of which I wonder if we even notice.

I think there are more pieces of the film somewhere we haven't seen. Why would they cut it up like that in the first place?

Narration: Welcome, I'm Dr. Marvin Candle, and this is the orientation film for Station 3 of the Dharma Initiative. In a moment you'll be given a simple set of instructions for how you and your partner will fulfill the responsibilities associated with the station. But first, a little history.

The Dharma Initiative was created in 1970, and it is the brainchild of Gerald and Karen DeGroot -- two doctoral candidates at the University of Michigan. Following in the footsteps of visionaries such as B.F.
