The previews showed Kate saying something about ghosts. Do you think whatever makes her see her 'ghost' is the same thing that made Jack see his dad and Shannon/Sayid see Walt? Are they just hallucinating or is it something more?

that horse was cool.

Kate killed her dad. And see's a horse on the island, she had seen before the Island.

Walt is a ghost in the machine. Or, more likely, the others are in a hatch, and have a computer also, and they got an intranet thing going.

I knew the Josiah story, all of it was true.

Marvin Candle said not to use the computer, nothing really new there, but he got a little crazy about it.

I'm a bit confused, but happily so.

I loved this show! I felt ripped off last week. This week I feel like we got more show.
Sawyer loves Kate. Will he remember he said that? Jack is sooo confused. All women are crazy he says. Kate kissed him. Good kiss. I want to see her with Sawyer though. That is how I am feeling at the moment. Mr. Echo was really good. Dramatic when telling the Josiah story. Him and Locke are good together. What did Hurley say to Jack? I don't remember but it was funny. I will be watching it again. The horse was so beautiful. Kate and Sawyer seeing it together. Very cool.
Jack and Ana-Lucia finally got to have their drink. Walt on the computer??? Wow...........it was just too much!

This was DEFINATELY a great episode. I'm happy with it... yet, left with more questions!!!

I'm glad that we've gotten to know Kate's back story, and why she was really on the run. Hell, she did a GOOD thing. I would have wacked that rat bastard out a long time before she did. And I loved how Sawyer said something to her, in his delirium, and she thought that it was Wayne communicating with her. And the fact that she talked to Sawyer, as if he were Wayne. It's just brought them to one step closer. You can tell that these two are meant for each other.... and that even though there is something with Jack and Kate... it's not meant to be. Sawyer is the one who understands her... and she him.

Ekko is awesome..... a very deeply spiritual, and possibly religious, man. He is going to be a great pair with Locke. They will have a lot in common, and possibly get stuff figured out, more than where they are. What was the deal with that whole "Do not try to use the computer for anything other than inputting the code" though? I'm still wondering if NOTHING happens if they don't do the code. Maybe they would be RESCUED if they didn't push the button. But, it's the fear of the unknown.

The VERY short funeral for Shannon left me feeling unsettled. She's been on the show for over a season, and they gave her burial about 2 min, if that. I just think that was kinda crappy. But, that's life.

Hurley talking to Jack was hysterical.... esp when he said, "Rose's husband is white. I didn't see that one coming!"

Oh, and that whole horse thing. I'm freaking out here... because that island is NOT the first place that she's seen it. What is it really?

And why in the hell is Walt communicating through the computer? Is that really Walt, or another test?

Then there were the previews for next weeks episode.... and it looks interesting, yet, once again, leaves me filled with a lot more questions!

I watched it again today,

I think the best part was the kindly smile Locke had on his face, while Ekko was telling what Locke thought was a Conversion Religious Speech.

He politely opens the bible, still with the smile on his face, which his eyes betray,

then gets all serious when he sees the movie film.

Locke, the actor I mean, should get an emmy for that scene. That was some good acting.

Echo balances out Locke. I like the character.

I think that Kate seeing the horse is a sign that she has "the sickness". This is not the first time someone has seen something strange and scary

Jack=dead dad
Shannon=watery walt
Kate=horse

The end really got me! Is it Walt or is it the others?

Jack will not end up with Kate. She will end up with Sawyer. Sawyer accepts her as she is, Jack is more her "Macer" as Kris will get.

No one is really talking about the ghost of Kate's dad taking over Sawyer's body. I don't think she imagined that. In fact, I'm not convinced that Kate intentionally kissed Jack. I think there's a chance that his 'dead' WIFE took over Kate's body. I didn't even speculate until I saw the look Kate had on her face as she was walking away. She looked extremely confused. And then the first conversation she had with anyone else was about ghosts.

I think the island is harboring lost souls.

The horse did not make any sense to me. The ploar bear I could forget about. Walt kinda made sense. I guess the horse and Kate's dad speaking through Sawyer would be in the same category as when Jack saw his Dad on the island in the first season. We know Jack's Dad was not really there. That he is dead. I am waiting for an explanation for these sightings.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, interesting thoughts there, Dave. It is another explaination. Every single episode gives you SOME answer, about something... whether it's something on the island, or a background story. But, every single episode leaves you more confused, asking more questions, and wondering things. THAT'S a great show. I love not figuring it out.

I want to know if that was really Walt or the Others trying to lure people out, if that was Walt and the Others weren't paying attention when he was using the computer, or that is Walt but he is now changed by the Other's influence. We do know now, though, that the Others are in a hatch, so that means there are more than two hatches on the island.

Who else got the impression that there was still more of the film missing? I think there is some in all the hatches.

I think they need to do more answering. I agree, I like the questions that come up in each episode, but I still feel like there's too many unanswered questions. They have to give you SOMETHING. And not just a character's BACK story.

How do we know that the Others are in a hatch?

I am going to watch it again this weekend. I don't think we know if the others are in a hatch or not. I might have said this before but I think Walt is alive and is trying to get messages to his dad any way he can. I think the people that are dead are dead and aren't going to come back to life although it would be nice if they did. As far as the sightings of things that could not possibly be there I think that may be a side affect of these experiments on the island. Something in the air or water. I think if they would not push the button they would be saved. That may be too simplistic an answer though. It was funny to me when Sawyer thought they were saved when he woke up in a bunk bed.

just a theory. If walt is on a computer, talking to his dad, then he must be in another hatch.

If he is a ghost or something, then the theory is shot.

The film said that they must not use the computer for comunication with the other hatches, so the Others must be in a hatch. Unless Walt escaped, which I don't think is possible with that crowd.

Well, I know that everytime I start to figure something out, or think that it is a certain way, I'm proven wrong. Lost continues to change, constantly.... so I have no ideas.

Walt is in the future. On the same computer as his dad.

Another possibility, Matt... that's a good one.

Or, Walt has the ability to communicate, in many different ways... he might not even BE on a computer.

It's because the fall sweeps are over with... and because of the holidays, they don't want to run new eps, and have people not watch. And, they need to have enough new eps to run in the sweeps in May.
