What do you wish they had included in the movie?


I wish they had the scene with Molly and Harry in the hosptial wing. It was not the same without Mrs. W. She is the surrogate mom to Harry. That was an important moment in the series.

Oh man, this question means i'll have to read the book after I see the movie

I'm thinking, if the movie starts really at the point we've all heard it starts at (which I figure it does), the scene with the Weasleys and the Dursleys would have been awesome...

Oh yeah! I forgot about that. I did miss the Dursley's as well. I like seeing old Dudders get freaked out about magic.

Completely bummed that the Dursleys weren't in there..... seeing the post delivered, with all the stamps, and Vernon's blood pressure bursting through the roof, once again! Seeing that whale of a punk, Dudley!! It just wasn't the same without that.

Ummmmmmmmmmm, the scene of everyone at the Weasleys house, with Bill and Charlie, having that table fight, and Percy being all righteous. After all, he's gone bonkers, for the ministry, in book five... so, I wish that they would have shown that.

The actual Quidditch match. Wish that we could have seen some of that!!!!
Nothing with Winky, the house elf... or Harry's wand being used to put the mark in the sky, for Voldemort.

Have to say that I'm glad there was no S.P.E.W. storyline, at all......

They skipped a lot of "litle things" here and there... but, it's a HUGE book, condensed into a 2.5 hour movie... so, we knew that it was going to happen.

The fact that there was NOTHING about the "bug" Rita Skeeter.... like the convo, outside, during the ball, with Harry listening to Hagrid, and the GIANT (dang, she was HUGE) That "bug" plays another important roll in book five.

I was soooo happy that S.P.E.W was left out.

Madame Maxime was HUGE! Mega Huge! I like how Hagrid got all google eyed over her in the movie.

I do wish that we had seen the ton-tongue toffee episode. It is just not the same without the Dursley's freaking out as Harry leaves each summer.

I majorly missed Dobby in this movie though
