In 2008, the English actress Emma Watson maybe looking at a life beyond the Harry Potter sequel that she is noted for.
She has been looking at scripts and discovered Sin City 3: Hell & Back. The story line is set in Sin City where an ex-Navy SEAL named Wallace saves a teenage girl from killing herself. After a night on the town, she is kidnapped by mysterious people. Wallace attempts to save the girl named Esther.
Emma Watson, who will be sixteen when the picture begins to be filmed, is thrilled.
"Sin City 3 has been in the works and I was called on to act as this distressed girl. It will be awesome." She says.

I don't know if Emma Watson could handle a plot like Esther even though Esther is a teenager. This will be a contrast with the sweet, brainy companion that she always plays. Esther is quite a dark character.
I have read the script as well. Esther acts like a goth and is a wild party girl who enjoys nights on the town.
Frank Miller, the director, thinks she will be perfect for the role. "She has an expression of pain when she acts. Her American accent was prefect for the part of Esther, but of course we will have to work on other things."

You don't know if she can handle it? It's an ACTING role... which is what she does, acting. She does a great job as Hermione Grainger.... and I think that she will be just fine in this new role too.

I don't know if she's a good enough actress for the role of Esther. Her role requires a great actress. It is hard for an eighteen year old actress to really act like she is deeply effected by her hallucinations. She is also an hallucination of Wallace.
It takes a great actress to make the audience see her vivid hallucinations and understand that she is truly trapped by her hallucinations as Wallace becomes as the story progresses. I just don't see how a Hermione-like character can play a deeply troubled person who is held captive by her own mind.
She hallucinates that she is kidnapped and Wallace fights to save her because he hallunicates a man as well.
If she does a terrific job, then I will be very, very impressed. This is a hard role for a beginning actress.

I haven't even watched the first Sin City but I might actually have to watch this one. I'm kind of curious to see how she'll do.

Its been in talks, she wants to play this but maybe Frank Miller might change his mind in 2007 (according to IMBD this is when the movie will start) I think he might hire her, who knows.
