First of all, I read the book that this movie is based on long before I knew it would be on the big screen.
It stars Jennifer Aniston and Clive Owen. What kind of name is Clive? But anyway...
I can only tell you about the book and what I have seen/read about movie similarities. Basically, dude and chick are married to other people, hook up, some thug rapes chick when Clive and Jen's characters have a sleazy meeting and extorts money from them to not tell their significant others.
In the book, the brutal 'r' scence goes on for many pages. Horrible. I mean, damn, bad.
There is a good twist ending, a trip.
Let me say, if the movie is true to the book, say goodbye to Rachel and hello to Jennifer Aniston the actress.
It has the making of being a real cool thriller.
We shall see.
