| Backstreet Boys Sue Ex-Manager Again
Re-formed boyband Backstreet Boys are suing their former manager again after claiming he didn't dissolve all the group's business entities when they were released from their contract in 1998.
The five-piece first sued svengali Lou Pearlman in the late 1990s to get out of their contract with him, and now the bandmates have teamed up again for what they hope will be one final assault on the man who created them.
In a suit filed in Florida last week, the group alleges that Pearlman used money he owes them to start up new businesses.
The Boys also claims Pearlman didn't honor an agreement to settle with some of the original members of the group.
The band is seeking reimbursement from Pearlman and his music label, Trans Continental Records, claiming "abuse of corporate privilege" and "fraud."
