Eminem refused to perform at Live 8

LONDON: Organisers of Live 8 music concert - Sir Bob Geldof and Bono - say they are upset with Eminem because he refused to return phone calls requesting him to perform at the concert.

Bono and Geldof even sent photographs of Africans wearing Eminem T-shirts to persuade him to perform but they were totally ignored, said contactmusic.com.

Geldof says: "Bono called me while I was in Africa and said he (Eminem) was not calling me back.

"If people don't want to do anything, then it's cool, I am ok with that, but I wouldn't mind if they got back to us."

That is just so rude, some new-comer white kid who thinks he's tough, not even returning the phone calls of the two of the greatest musical/ polictal minds of our times!!!! Who the hell does this Eminem punk think he is?
