Even with a shaggy hairstyle and scruffy goatee, Orlando Bloom still attracts legions of admirers. For a TV interview this week the usually fresh-faced star - who's been hot footing it around A-list events promoting Elizabethtown - had swapped his slicked-back red carpet style for a decidedly more casual look.

The change of image seemed to go down well with fans, who gave him an enthusiastic reception. Orlando delighted one young admirer when he called her out of the audience and gave her a hearty embrace. During the show the actor, who's an avid footie follower, was given a shirt of his favourite team, Manchester United.

Despite being one of Hollywood's most sought-after stars, Orlando admits to extreme shyness in one respect, saying he's terrified of dancing. During a scene with co-star Kirsten Dunst, the heart-throb was forced to break out into a jig before hordes of paparazzi, much to his mortification.
"There were a lot of people there because I guess they knew about the movie and were all expecting me", recalls the actor. "It was highly embarrassing." | |
