As we know Linda Ronstadt was the famous singer, but her daughter we know very little about.
Her daughter is actress Ally Sheedy born illegitimately to the drummer of the band The Stone Poneys

I loved Linda Ronstadt, her song Love is a rose , You're no good and When will I be loved? were my favorites. She was truly a good singer.

Her daughter, Ally, acts in these bad girl movies such as Bad Boys , St. Elmo's Fire , War games and The Breakfast Club.

She is very, very cool. Do any of you remember Linda Ronstadt?

Ally Sheedy

I saw Alley on the Deadzone last season. She is aging well. Still looks good.


She was part of the Brat pack back in the 80's, and John Smith, the dead zone character is played by Anthony Hall, the nerdy brat packer.

Ally also played "Jenny" (I think that was her character's name...) in Short Circuit... Horrible. Just god-awful.

She was much better in the other movies hazel mentioned... But I didn't know that she was Linda's daughter.

Ally played an excellent role in Parallel lives . Did any of you see it? It was an excellent movie and the only movie that I would spend the money to watch.

She played Louise, the daredevil, flighty teenager who danced all night long with soldiers. Parallel Lives was about a class reunion. These people graduated form the class of 1944. The whole movie consisted of flashbacks from 1944 to the present time, 1994. Liza Minnelli plays Louise of the present time while Ally plays Louise of 1944.

It is really a good movie to watch on a rainy day.
