Brad shooting new movie in Winnipeg, Canada

He's here in my city, and the extras are losing their freakin' minds over the guy. Same thing happened when J-Lo filmed Shall We Dance here... In fact, the extra casting process seems to have taken several weeks to complete, which to me is strange, because usually when I have been called in as an extra for a movie in the past, I'm called the day before, given the location and call time, advised on what to wear, and that's that...

I think this is a time piece though, so the costume fittings might have been the biggest deal...

I'm not sure, as I've not really kept up with the whole "Brad's coming to Winnipeg" thing, but I think the movie has something to do with the Gold Rush?

IMDB says Pitt is filming 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford' and 'Babel' right now.

Good ol' pretty boy is playing JJ. Wonder if he'll play it like his character from 12 Monkeys...

Haha! I hope not. I am interested to see how the movie turns out though, in part because some of it will have been filmed here, but maybe moreso to see what part Sam Rockwell has in it. I like his brand of acting. I have since The Green Mile. I even liked his admittedly stupid role in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy...

Hunky Brad Pitt was looking very much the dapper gent on the Canadian set of The Assassination Of Jesse James this week, togged out in a period frockcoat, complete with top-hat and cane.

He was a lone cowboy on the Winnipeg shoot however, as constant companion Angelina Jolie was nowhere to be seen.

Though Brad recently visited Angelina and her children while she was filming in New York, this time the actress couldn't return the favour as commitments kept her in the Big Apple. Elegant in a grey sequinned gown, the mother-of-two attended the Worldwide Orphans Foundation gala benefit escorted by her brother James Haven.

Although Angelina and Brad have preferred to maintain a discreet silence on their relationship the rest of the world seems convinced they're an item. So much so, the A-list pair have now been immortalised on canvas in a painting by famous American pop artist, Robert Delgadillo. The picture, which sees the photogenic couple portrayed as Adam and Eve, is called Temptation.
