All I know is that there is about 5 hours and 15 min until the episode, and I can't wait.

On the night the shows airs,

that movie creeped me out, felt like the Blair With Project, or The RING.

That spooky dude in the window, forget his name, the main leader guy of Darhma. What a freak of nature that was.


Desmond been down there 3 years, hitting that button every 1 hour and 46 minutes. No wonder he is crazy.

Previews for next week show Jin speaking perfect English. Turncoat Ana Lucia helping them out of the pit.

They must be the back of the plane, all of them, they are not the others.

that was fun, how she took the gun and turned on them, didn't see that coming.

the movie said it was from 1980, so someone has been pressing that button for 25 years.

the movie also said there was an incident, and that's why the button must be pressed.

then, like a chump, Desmond runs off into the woods. We won't see him again for awhile, you can bet on it.

Plus, I saw no "the third policeman" book. There was another book that was removed from the shelf, don't remember the name of it now, but it wasn't the third policeman.


that must have been a hoax.

a confusing episode, but it was fun. I need to watch it again and see what I missed.

Looks like we might get back to a little romance with Jack and Kate. Jack seemed to be pretty interested in Kate with only a towel on all clean and sparkly.

remember the guy they zoomed in on in the movie? that kinda looked like jack's dad. maybe it's the fact that i have a tiny tv.

I also thought that guy looked like Jack's dad.

Jin, I wonder if he secretly took English lessons like Sun did, but found out that she was taking them and was waiting for her to tell him that she could speak English so that he could tell her that he.............

If the "others" are just th e people from the back part of the plane, why do they look like savages? Everyone except ana lucia of course. Do we think these people are different than the ones who took Walt?

The guy who opened the "cage" up didn't look like a savage. He looked like someone that's been there awhile... and it's possible that those in the tail of the plane have had NOTHING to survive off of, like those "main" people. So, it could turn them, in a sense, into savages.

Or they got sick.

Perhaps the big black dude is Rose's husband?

I got the season one scripts off the net, I'm going to go check them for the bogus Hurley snowman rumor,

and also to see if the 1-900 girl was Helen as well.

I feel betrayed by internet rumor.

also, in the movie, they showed two polar bears when it was talking about what the Darhma group did.


So, it stands to reason, the polar bear could be on the Island as part of that research station stuff.


Though, I think it would have died from the heat a long time ago, but maybe it was a recent escape.

Or maybe Walt made it with his mind, I dunno.

I messed up, the third policeman was in it,

when Desmond went to grab his meds,

the book was to the right, just a blip, you had to slow it down to see it,


there for less than a second, but it was there.

i got the whole helen thing too, that made my family lost and they kept talking, not cool.

yea, the dude that threw them into the cage didnt look like some sort of native, just someone who needed a bath. plus, he and the anna girl were working together so it's prolly just the other survivors.

and the whole magnetic/electro whatever waves from the island? that makes me lost, so the island in itself is wierd too.

i dont think the guy was rose's husband, doncha think he would be a little bit older? i dunno, you never know today.

i personally dont think these are the same people that took walt, but we dont know do we.

I'm surprised with Locke's relationship with Helen. From last season I was given the impression that she was this over-the-phone-companion person who pitied him, but from yesterday's episode we were shown that they had a much closer relationship and that SHE first hooked up with HIM. Now she seems cold, calling him a "client" and not wanting to see him. However, he was in his chair when he was calling her last season and was walking when he first met her, so at least four years had passed between last night's episode and last season's.

As far as the electro-magnetic thing in the hatch, I posted something a long time ago in the Insane Theory Thread about this Black Rock at the top of the world. It was written into maps from the time of Mercator. The Black Rock part of the map looked freakishly like that rock/castle thing in the comic book. Well, according to legend, that Black Rock on the North Pole was very magnetic and used to pull the nails out of ships that had the misfortune of passing by it.

I wonder if he just called her Helen, and she allowed it, because she was a 1-900 #.


Also, I wonder if maybe Locke was in a car crash, and helen died in it, and he was crippled.

Would SPLAIN some things.

I thought the black guy looked too young to be Rosa's husband too.


It is interesting how Desmond brings out emotions in Jack. I think the encounter with Desmond is the reason Jack hit the "execute" button.

yea, that's what i thought originally too, that the 1-900 girl just let him call her helen because......well, because.

I thought the phone operator just let Locke call her Helen b/c he was paying as well.

But if Locke was in a car accident and Helen died, maybe that's why he's all spiritual now. That he's meant to do things. I personally think he's just crazy.

But why is he no longer paralyzed, that's what I wanna know.

So are they just gonna spend the rest of their time on the island hitting that lame Execute button?

Thanks Orientation guy that was really interesting. I was trying to remember everything that was said in that scene.

I must have missed what Illuminate was talking about. I didn't realize there had been a car crash and Helen died. Were you just speculating? If that is true then Locke must have been just pretending the operator was Helen. Does sound crazy.

Why would that Ana Lucia chick be all scared of the guys when they told her the flight they were on crashed. Wouldn't she be happy to see other survivors?

If this show turns into Survivor: The Island, I'm gonna laugh.
It's the survivors versus the others in obstacle courses. hahah

I went back and rewatched the last few episodes....

you remember when claire had an "issue" in the middle of the night and she woke up screamingb ecause she thought someone was trying to hurt her baby?

Locke was no where to be found...

And when I did a frame-by-frame, the person's hands were stubby and wrinkly. Not only that, but he had a really nice knife. Like one of those in Locke's case.

Okay, mom told me this and I have yet to check it out for myself, but somewhere she found pictures taken of the plane where we can see the DHARMA SWAN LOGO ON THE SIDE OF THE PLANE. And somewhere in the Orientation film there is the Oceanic-air logo

The oceanic airlines thing isn't in the film. ...not even in the little blips. I checked practically every single frame...

As for lookong on the side of the plane... I don't remember ever even seeing the side of it so I wouldn't know which episode to look in...

On the following 2 offical screencaps you can just about make out the Dharma logo.

That way she doesn't have to keep emailing me the links to all the important stuff she finds--I would already know where to find it

We in England have FINALLY had the first 2 epi's shown on Channel 4 ... and the third one on first look on E4 ...

I like this series so far. I like the fact that we see more of the others, and there not just things in the forest that we only have talked about.
