Book 6: HP & the Half-Blood Prince Forum

They finally released the traditional chinese translation this past weekend.

Once thing worth noticing, though, is the title of the book.

I doubt it really spoils the book much, but they decided to call it 混血王子的背叛.... basically its called "Mixed Blood Prince's Betrayal"

Interesting, right? I don't know if they'd called it that in English, whether we would have instantly guessed who would do the betraying. I feel I would've before even starting to read the book, and definitely after the second chapter at least.

interesting ... you get an idea of who it might be in the english books anyway, but having that title kind of makes it more obvious

Yes, that's what I think too, because there's only one person you think of when you think "betrayal!"

I agree, Grant... the title give away way too much. WHY would they do that?
I mean, when you get HP & the Half Blood Prince, you don't know that the person in the title betrays everyone.

Exactly. And when you put that together with chapter 2 when Snape promises to help Draco, along with the fact that he's potions master... pretty obvious, if you ask me.

But, actualy, I think most people here who read Harry Potter already know how it ends... unfortunately the entire story was broadcast on the news for about a week after the english version was released...
