With love being a major theme in the series, it makes sense that romance has become important to the characters as they have grown up. HBP had a lot of romance in it: Harry/Ginny, Dean/Ginny, Ron/Lavender, Ron/Hermione, Bill/Fleur, Lupin/Tonks, Hagrid/Maxime, Draco/Pansy, twins/random muggle girls, a hint of Filch/Pince, and even the dementors were breeding.

What did you think of the romantic pairings? Were they what you were expecting? Did you think JK Rowling wrote the romances well? What role do you think romance will play in Book 7?

My favorite romantic pairing is a dementor with Voldemort. I can just imagine them sharing a good long kiss. The second most romantic pairing is Voldemort and Nagini.

Well love is the greatest power, so it will play a huge role in seven but not until the end. Harry's mother made a sacrifice out of love.

The series deals with love, or lack of love at times too.
Voldemort has never known love.
The Dursley's never showed Harry love.
His friends taught him about love and family.

Loved the part where Harry and Ginny got together. She understands him in a way that no one else does. Ron and Lavender was just funny as hell. Won-won was all hormones.
