I just finished reading the sixth book of Harry Potter for the second time and I seriously think there should be an amusement park ride. For instance, the ride could be designed like 'The Haunted Mansion' at Disney where you ride in one of the seats and watch different scenes from the book.
I think lots of fans who ride it and so would loads of adults.

That's interesting... the only place I think they'd do that, though, is in the Warner Brothers Movie World in Australia (I don't know any other WB parks, are there any others?). It may happen eventually, but that place doesn't update their attractions too often (hardly ever...).

Wonder what it would involve... it'd just have to be a fun ride, with magic. Not too fast, so kids could go on it...

hmmmm...

It could be a scary ride where you go through the forrest and encounter animals that only Hagrid would love.

they should have a "tour of hogwarts castle" ride. with hogwarts express included. it could be like the tram ride in universal studios, but instead of riding a tram you ride hogwarts express, and tour hogwarts.

At Six Flags, there's a Sponge Bob Square Pants "ride" where you sit and use 3-D glasses and watch an episode - do you mean something like that?

you know at the fair ground they have that ride that goes through a haunted house, and skeltons drop down at you i think they mean things like that

well there is this tram ride you go on where it takes you through all of the sets of famous movies: you get to see king kong and jaws and stuff like that, and it's really cool! if you ever go to cali, you should check it out. especially if you are a movie buff

It wouldn't even need to be like the tram ride. You know, quite often now they use video screens and seats that move to make you feel like youre going on a tour. Instead of moving seats though......... they could have broomsticks!

Though I'd be likely to fall off.

but it'd have to be really GOOD computer stoof. a lot of times i like the unreal jerky movements of plastic monsters better.

but yes. broomsticks would be awesome.. although how would the.. erm.. weightily challenged ride these broomsticks? OH! and there would have to be different kinds of broomsticks so that the little kids would be waiting to see if THEY got the firebolt or the cleansweep, and they could laugh at the people who got the cleansweep and be miffed if they don't get the firebolt. because waiting to see what you'll be riding on is half of the fun.

moving broomsticks wouldn't be any good safety issue. It'd have to be, like, a broomstick with a seat... if that would be possible. And safety harness...

That would just suck the fun out of it, really.

The only ride that I know of was closed in 2005. IT was in fact at Movieworld in Australia, and was based on the Chamber of Secrets. Not sure why it closed, but the Hogwarts Express is still there.

That's quite an idea. And with the success of Harry Potter, it just might click. I wonder if it ever crossed the minds of the management. I bet it would be a magical experience, excuse the pun
