Cross Country

I'm starting my third year as a cross country runner this year. Tough sport. I wish that cross country didn't have such a reputation as being a wimpy sport. It takes so much work! What do you all think of cross country?

Though this is my third year of being on the team, I'm really not cut out to ben a runner. I'm mostly running because dad told me to do a sport every year to keep healthy. I love the team and I love the courses, but I hate the actual running. I may just use this thread to rant about my meets

Oh man, that was a strange practice So we do our warm-ups at the highschool, then we all get in cars and drive up to Washington to do our main practice. Washington is only like five miles or so away from my highschool, but still. Why not warm-up there? The drive gave us time to cool-down

Our first meet is on the 8th. I am NOT ready

baha! i don't have to do cross country anymore! i get to SWIM all year! yay!

Curses! And now there's some cougar on the Cross Country course, so now I have to run with someone at all times. Our coach told the short people that they were the perfect size for a cougar meal

You wouldn't even be an appetizer
