| Posted by: Sierradaddy | | If you're gonna boycott, you might want to find out what each company's subsidiaries are. Most large companies have other wholly-owned subsidiary companies, or they own shares in other companies, etc. You might want to boycott all companies that have DEALINGS with the above-mentioned companies too.
But, I do have a question: Why punish the company for making use of rules and regulations that were LEGAL back then? I'd go after the government who had sanctioned it in the first place. The individual companies were simply doing what they were allowed to do in order to make money. I've never expected a company to be moral or scrupulous, because they aren't designed to BENEFIT from morality, they are designed to benefit from greed and aggressiveness. It's a by-product of the system, not the fault of the companies.
I DO however, expect the governing body of the system to be ethical, and keep the companies in check. That's part of THEIR job, and when they aren't doing it, then the trouble begins... | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | What did Aetna do? They are an Insurance Group. I used to work for them, so other than them treating their employees badly, what have they done? Honestly, I would like to know. | | Reply To this Message

Your former employee perform the same task it does now but humans were the items that had to be insured. Ask Aetna for a SLAVE POLOCY or hire atorney to ask for you. They still have them.

| Posted by: Whidden | | Alright Malcom, you got a bunch of threads in here that have nothing to do with U.S. foreign policy,
I am going to move them to the right forums.

I don't support anything that Aetna does or did. They are a horrible company. Trust me.

What is a slave policy?
This would make a ridiculous conversation if I walk into a law office one morning.
ME: Excuse me, I would like a slave policy.
Attorney: Yeah, so would I. I need a slave to do all my office work. Jesus!
