Is anyone else watching Brat Camp? I really like the show. It airs on Wed. nights on ABC. They took a bunch of troubled kids and sent them to a wilderness camp.

I saw one where they sent UK kids to the US and made them camp for so many (6?) weeks. I think it was similar to Brat Camp, but I can't remember the name. Most of the kids seem to get a lot out of it. I think it's a great idea, the first weeks looked liek hell, but once they'd all detoxed from their drugs and ciggies and grog, they started to realise that it was going to be good for them.

Hopefully, I never need to send my kids to anything like this though.

These kids are out there for almost 60 days. They hike, they have rules. The end up hiking 100 miles total.

One girl Jada, is such a brat. She is a manipulator. She lies all the time, and she thinks she is really smart. What she is is clueless. Her parents have never made her accountable for anything in her life. It is sad.

These kids need to go to face slap camp. Parents let these jerk kids walk all over them, some TV camp won't stop that. Probably will make them worse.

I did a google search. Two of the nine kids are in trouble with the law. I think there is hope for a few of them. One girl was molested a few years back. She has low self-esteem and talks back to her parents. I think she will be o.k. The other kid is severely dyslexic. His twin is not and teases him. He tried to stab the twin. He is learning that he can do things.

i have seen the show once-- got a little too in to it-- I wasscared that if I watched it again I would be hooked-- so I stopped.

I got hooked. I can't wait for the next one.
