Ryan Greyson: Let us talk about your relationship with Frank Sinatra. Why did you want to date a married man?
Lyon: I was nieve at the time. I didn't believe that he was really married and that he had a lover at the time. I was just swept away by his chrisma and the way he held himself. He was so confident and neat that it was a surprise to me, really. I dated several teenage guys that never compared with him.
Ryan Greyson: He was 50?
Lyon: He was 50 going on 80. (laughs) He was so old schooled and sophisticated.
Ryan Greyson: Its amazing that you have worked with his ex-wife Ava Gardner and everything. Did she know about your dating Frank.
Lyon: No, I | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: hazel_dragoneye | | Lyon: No I never discussed anything with her. She was more sophicated and refined when I met her in 1964. I could never approach her, not in a million years. She's a classic, an idol. It was very odd to date her ex-husband.

[Interview with Marilyn Maxwell. October 22, 1957. Interviewer: Look Magazine
Look reporter: There have been reports that you were an old flame of Sinatra. Is that true?
Maxwell: Frankie had several flames, was I one of them? Probably. Its hard not to fall into that trap. He is one of the sexiest men alive today. Laughs If I don't say so myself.

Interview with Anita Ekberg. September 14, 1998. Interviewer: People Magazine
People: What words would you use to describe Frank Sinatra?
Ekberg: A genius, totally.
People: Any other words?
Ekberg: A liar. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: hazel_dragoneye | | Interview with Lauren Bacall. December 8, 1957. Interviewer: The Reporter
The Reporter:Why did he call off the engagement?
Bacall: I actually called it off. Things just weren't feeling right between Frank and I. Humphrey's death and Ava's divorce were hard for both of us. I really thought that we could be good together. I didn't imagine our relationship would end this way.
The Reporter: Why were you attached to him?
Bacall: He supported me mentally. My insides attached themselves to him. He was there for me and everything. | | Reply To this Message

He's the best friend I ever had. I always knew in my heart that Italians and Irish would mix peacefully.
Dean Martin
He was never an athletic person. I've never seen him jogging or lifting weights. The only exercise he got, I imagine, was in the bed with beautiful women.
Judith Campbell
I told Frank what I thought of him. He knows.
Ava Gardner:
He's Jesus's darling when he sings. When he isn't singing, he's a bastard. Just sing Frank and you'll find out that people enjoy you better when you do it.
President Clinton:
This man is a classic, the best singer that this country has ever known. I awarded him the lifetime achievement award, now I need to guard my wife against him. (Frank threatened to punch Clinton's lights out)
Tom Cruise:
I look up to him. He's a template of Hollywood.
Victoria Principal:
He wanted to run the big machine and amazingly he did. | | Reply To this Message
