The ownership of Fawkes-split from other thread

Does anyone else think that Fawkes will return? Could he become Harry's phoenix? It has to mean something that Harry was so loyal to Fawkes. He is brave like Dumbledore, and DD did love him. So, who will Fawkes go to? Is he in a will? Will he have a new owner? I did read a while back that Harry will get a new pet, not sure if it is true, but could it be Fawkes? I hope so.

I think it is quite possible that Hedwig might have to share her owner with Fawkes. Don't know how that will work out with owl psychology but it might result in atleast some jealousy and inferiority complex.

OR she may have a crush on the big strong Phoenix. I hope Harry does get fawkes. It would be like having a little bit of Dumbledore with him.

Yeah, phoenixes are supposed to be wise and loyal. Fawkes would definitely be handy in finding horcruxes, fighting Voldemort etc.

Harry was able to call Fawkes to him in COS. His loyalty to Dumbledore made that possible. I doubt that Ron or Hermione could have done it. There is something special about Harry/ Fawkes/ and Gryffindor. I just have a feeling.

Dumbledore was one of the most brilliant students to go through Hogwarts, as brilliant as Tom Riddle. We haven't seen Ron achieve even a fraction of Dumbledore's power and he is about done with school.

I think people sometimes let their imaginations run away.

Mrs. Weasley would know if she were related to Dumbledore. Red hair may just be more common in the wizarding world.*shrugs

If you remember, Harry got better grades on his O.W.L.s than Ron. I don't think there is any doubt that Harry is the stronger wizard. Heck, if he didn't have to worry about plots and being killed all the time, I would bet that he would be the best male student.

I would bet he got the highest marks ever on O.W.L.s.

Dumbledore was brilliant on his own accord as well. I think he was much like Tom Riddle, brilliant at everything, tons of trophies and awards, except that he wasn't mean or evil-spirited.

Hermione isn't as well-rounded. She is smart book-wise, but she is not an all-rounder. Plus she missed one 'O'.

Perhaps Fawkes will go to Hagrid. I'm sure he'd like that, but then again it's more likely that Harry will get Fawkes, simply because he is the main character.

I doubt whether Ron is Dumbldore. It would stike me as more believable if you had said Fred or George but then thats also quite unbelievable. I suppose Ron could be Dumbledore and he would be doing a good acting job, and Mr and Mrs Weasley might not know anything about it because there are always memory altering spells.

Beside it is more possible if Dumbledore was Draco Malfoy, after all he seemed pretty sure of Malfoys intentions at the end of HBP.

M, you are right, Hermione is more book smart. She is not a fighter like Harry.
