That's pretty nifty. I'd get one. For every computer I build.

It would make my keyboard MUCH easier to use with different programs... I've always been of the mindset that the keyboard was too good to become obsolete anytime soon. It just needed an update.

Very nice find, Larke.

Took me a second to figure out what was so special... if they've done it right, I think it could really take off. The idea is excellent.

i think they are actually going to be making full displays sometime in the future as well using this technology.

i remember seeing this stuff a long time ago on some of those "gadgets of the future" tv shows.

i don't know if you've seen minority report. but if you have, remember the cereal box with the full motion cartoon on the box? and the newspaper that changed headlines in real-time? OLED technology can make some of that kind of stuff very common in the not too distant future.

OLED have some extended-use flaws, but we'll soon see computer and tv monitors using them. they don't need backlights so they can be really thin. and they have a wider viewing angle than lcd screens. sorry to ramble, it's just i've been waiting for these to hit on a mass market scale for a long time.

Yeah, I remember that stuff from Minority Report. I suppose OLED will make screen wafer-thin. Imagine how cool that will be on laptops. Boom baby!!!

Yeah, I remember that "gadgets of the future" snippet too. They showed a flexible paper-thin OLED screen. The guy was showing it's flexibility while it was in use. I thought it was cool, and then soon after that I saw Minority Report and they were showing the same things in the movie.

It took Larke to trigger that connection in my mind. Thanks again. Check's in the mail.

Is that a reality check?
