California's high court lets domestic partner law stand

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The California Supreme Court on Wednesday let stand a new law granting registered domestic partners many of the same rights and protections available to married couples, giving the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender population an important legal victory.

I am wondering how a former unabashed lesbian of 16 years who now spends at least one day a week with 50 other former homosexuals and others wanting to get out of the lifestyle could ever be considered a homophobe?
