A new Washington Post-ABC News poll finds that clearly most Americans are willing to keep U.S. forces in Iraq for an extended time to stabilize the country. The survey found that only one in eight Americans currently favors an immediate pullout of U.S. forces, while a solid majority continues to agree with Bush that the United States must remain in Iraq until civil order is restore—a goal that most of those surveyed acknowledge is, at best, several years away.

How about a poll about teenagers proms-i havent had mine yet but that would be interesting. You could say what you would and wouldn't allow...what you'd say to your daughter/sons date and so on it could be a multi chocie thing LOL it would be good

• Give your daughter's date the stink-eye and inform him that you own lots and lots of guns

I was reading Uncle John's Bathroom Reader, and apparently there were polls on the bathroom. Stuff like, "Do you read in the bathroom" and "Do you wad or fold your toilet paper before use" and "Do you prefer your toilet paper roll to hang over the top or from the bottom?" Also, it says here that 7% of Americans steal toilet paper rolls. Pretty ridiculous, but funny all the same.

tell your son not to get anybody pregnant
tell your daughter not to get pregnant
Do a '10 things i hate about you' style and make your daughter wear a pregnant belly
not let your daughter/son go but instead give them a quiz to do about different types of amphibians

Should English be America's official language?

Believe it or not, the U.S. has no official language. Does this cause confusion? Should English be the official language? What about Spanish? What should be taught in school? What should be required and what should be allowed and accepted? This issue is heated and controversial.

I'd like to suggest a poll:

Virtual Strip-search or Physical Pat-down?

The government has already implemented in the Phoenix Airport the Backscatter X-Ray machine. This x-ray machine is a full-body scan used to search for hidden items that the standard metal detector may not catch. This machine essentially can see through any clothing you're wearing and see your physical body -- all of you! Would you submit yourself to this or do you prefer the traditional pat-down? Do you think this will be the wave of the future and we might as well get used to it?

Yes, to ensure my safety on the aircraft.

I'll add to poll but not as Virtual Strip Search. That is too bias and is a loaded question. To get more accurate results you don't want to have suggestive language in it. The question is leading the reader to a pre conceived notition that it's a strip search. We should rather leave it up to the poll taker to determine if it's a strip search or not.

Whatever you see fit is fine with me.
