Did you watch it? Do you understand what he's saying? Bolton may be many things but US envoy to the UN? Why do you think he's the right person for the job? It's a diplomats job, a job where people need to co-operate and work together.

It's laughable but hardly surprising that the Bush administration gave the job of American UN envoy to a man who thinks and says - "There is no united nations".

are you freaking kidding me?

well at least this guy is honest about it.

why doesn't the United States just withdraw from the UN? I'd support that 100%.

or just dismantle the UN entirely. It has failed, and with this clown is going to continue to fail.

What in the world is wrong with this John Bolton?

1) Please, sir, do us the favor of removing that caterpillar from your upper lip. It really does take away from your credibility.

2) Don't you know, sir, that the world is headed on a sure certain course of world government? World government is not the USA, sweetheart, world government is the world.

3) Given #2....EITHER LEAD, FOLLOW, OR GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!!!

Republican vs. Democrat

Republicans want the US to be the World Government
Democrats want the UN/EU to be the World Government

Bolton slams the UN, so isn't he a perfect choice? Bush says Saddam has WMD's and there is a link to al-Qaeda, let's go to war! It's the same ol' nonsensical head up your backside diplomacy.

it wouldn't be so bad that he slams the UN

but then he goes on to say that the purpose of the UN is to carry out the US's interests!!!

such a blatant "Might Makes Right" attitude.

well at least he doesn't try to cover up his opinion. That much I can respect.

Good observation. I wish more Americans could see this, or if they see this they would care enough to speak up about it....

At least the Europeans are beginning to see the EU for the monster that it is...it's too bad that they didn't see it before hand though.

Unfortunately, I am not sure if Americans will EVER wake up the fact of world government.

And given your list Dekka00...
Who do you think the deck is stacked against?
The Republicans who have the Democrats, true conservatives against world gov, the EU/UN against them?

The dems only have the Republicans against them, and the EU/UN for them.

This current Republican charade reminds me of Custer's last stand.

I see what you're saying, but there's also a degree of tact that you need for such a position. How can the rest of the UN respect this guy?

It's not tact that bothers them, it's his position.
"Tact" is just an excuse for pretending you don't know what he's trying to say.

Again, this is Custer's last stand...
caterpillar and all.
