Is Clay engaged does anyone know if this is true?

I was just browsing through a few message boards tonight and a few of them are saying that there is a rumor going around that Clay is engaged. I guess when he was at some gala dinner one fan asked him to marry her and he replied by saying that he was already taken, and he also said this last year when he was on tour when another fan asked him to marry her as well. Now everyone is wondering if he was just being snarky(because we all know that clay can be at times) or if he really is engaged.

No truth to the rumors. I checked up on it in several places and it sounds to me like fans just trying to start something. Clay's not engaged!

I think that it was great how Clay handled himself with Diane Sawyer, and told her that his personal life was none of her business.

They had him on "The Insider" last night... that's the show that he's been working on, and he said that he's sick of Hollywood, and is moving back home, and he's done with all of this stuff. I don't think that he will stop putting out music, but Hollywood has burned him, too much. WHO GIVES A CRAP whether he is gay, or not? It's not OUR business if he chooses to sleep with a man, or a woman. So, good on you, Clay.

I happen to know that Clay Aiken's sexual preference is my business.

Clay and I are engaged. I know this for a FACT. I read it in PEOPLE magazine.

I was thinking the same thing, Sherry. Our boy, Heck, deserves to have his own show.

Unless Clay is doing me, I don't care one way or the other what he is. What matters is that he is happy. Like the saying goes, "It matters not WHO you love, but THAT you are loved."

and the truth be told regarding "HECK!". We don't know each other personally and haven't talked all that much in the 2 (almost 3) years I've been a member here, but he is one of the few people here that I actually do a search on to read what they've posted. I don't think I've ever read someone as quick-witted and funny. Other than me.
