It will be the fifth day of testimony for Janet Arvizo, whose testimony against the singer appeared to be running into trouble earlier.
The defence has tried to discredit her evidence by suggesting she is only out to make money from the allegations.
Mr Jackson denies all 10 charges brought against him.
He is accused of abusing Gavin Arvizo when he was 13.
Damage control
The BBC's Daniela Relph, reporting from the trial in Santa Maria, California, says prosecution lawyers have some damage control to do as Mrs Arvizo seemed argumentative and lacking discipline under cross-examination by Mr Jackson's defence.
She reports that the judge had to warn Mrs Arvizo a number of times to just answer the question and not try to advance her story.
Although Mrs Arvizo has backed up some of the prosecution's allegations, she adds, she has also appeared paranoid and rambling in her testimony.
During proceedings on Monday, she said Mr Jackson "really didn't care about children - he just cared about what he was doing with the children".
She also restated her claim that the singer and his associates had issued death threats and held her family against their will at Neverland Ranch. |

Remember, the question is is he guilty of molesting this boy and kidnapping his family. They tried to introduce previous cases, but the choice of people that tried to sue Jackson before didn't help. Yes...I do believe this guy has a MAJOR problem, and I do think he did something to these kids.
Innocent people dont pay someone off...they do what bill Cosby did and say....take me to court, Im not paying you a dime!
The more he gets away with this...the more he is gonna keep doing it. A child molester will always be a child molester...they dont just stop...and this is why he has found himself paying people for their silence.
Im sorry...the guy is wacked out. Anyone else would be behind bars by now...Im sick of people using their fame to get themselves out of things like this. | | Reply To this Message

What you said is basically true though. Unfortunately I see the woman, being the way she is, a major liability to the prosecution's case. And the fact that she lacked response and was argumentative to the defense only, just shows that she was pretty heavily coached by the prosecution.  Common thing to do, true, but not something that should be obvious.
I'm sure after this is over, if he does get through it, he may get some serious help for once. You would hope parents wouldn't leave their kids with him anymore either... but what else can we hope for if he gets off?

I remember that now that you mention it...but there is one difference between that case, and a child molestation case for MJ...its not against the law as far as having to do jail time for sexual harassment, which is what she sued him for. Thats strictly a civil case....so money was the only option...and I believe he paid her off because there was enough evidence to support that.

What is being said about the kidnapping thing? I havent followed the case so much except for to read stuff on here.

Then getting his "boys" to "talk to them" whenever they thought about leaving. Eventually they got MJ's security guy, Jesus, to get them out of there...
