American Defense is preparing for the global terrorism hunt.
American bases WW are being re-structured to be more mobile for fast acting response.
Bases that allowed military families to accompany the troops for extended tours will be streamlined for a more transient force with 6 to 12 month tours at multiple locations that will not include their families. The overall cost to American Defense will be greatly reduced because of these reductions. Military compounds that include education facilities to support dependants will no longer be needed. Local support for food and fuel will be reduced as well as military spending in support of local economy.

Currently Korea and Saudi bases are being moved to more strategic support role locations.
Bases in Germany will be reduced to mobile support forces in the coming years.
Financial impact of this new base structuring will affect the local economies of these countries.
There is no longer a need for the U.S. to be the global peacekeepers in countries like Germany, France, England, Korea, Turkey and Saudi.
Korea will supply troops to protect and monitor the DMZ.
Saudis will be left to supply their own security forces.

As a disabled Vietnam Vet, I am in support of this action and would also recommend pulling out completely from bases in Europe. Europe has it’s own methods for dealing with security in regards to Terrorism and no longer needs support from the U.S.
