There are people in this world who deserve what I have more than I do. But they'll never have it. In the society I live in, I'm expected to work as hard as they who are less privelaged, for material gain. Icing on a cake others will never taste. Masked by something called "The American Dream", our attention is turned away from those less fortunate and focused on the riches within our own borders. When, in an instince of charity, we acknowledge these people, we are supposed to somehow feel ritcheous and fulfilled. And then return to our privlaged lives. But I don't feel fulfilled. I can't bare visiting a place unlike America because I would not want to leave. I would feel ashaimed to call myself a humanitarian, to leave a 3rd world country and have a smile on my face.

How can I be a conservative and feel this way? I can't. There for I'm not a conservative.

On the other side of the spectrum, I realize the opportunities America has. A small business could flurish and feed a family of 90. Or 9,000. Or 9,000,000. Because of the rediculous amount of money circulating within our country, we have relatively minimal taxes that support an extremely potent and lethal military to protect us. We have some of the most advanced technology in the world. Our government was designed to allow us freedom and opportunity unlike any country on Earth. We are supposed to bare arms, claim our land, build our homes, and live our lives. Our individual strengths are encouraged and junctioned for the better of society at our own free will. Low taxes make me feel like each person is receiving what they've earned.

How can I feel this way and be Liberal? I'm not Liberal either.

Our population has grown too much to support those ideals. There's too much propoganda between the lines of our history books. Teachers are motivated by politics, or money. There are too many secrets and lies behind the choices made by our past governments and the governments abroad. The truth is elusive, because our governments have made our choices for us. Liberal or Conservative doesn't matter. The establishment of government is out of control. Concealing, manipulating, evading, and growing.

I have avoided the political section lately for these reasons. I could be liberal and I could be conservative, but at the end of the day I'm just one side of a complex looking coin which is too big for it's pocket.
