Donald Trump hires 'Apprentice' winner Bill Rancic for another year

The first winner of "The Apprentice" has extended his contract with Donald Trump's company for another year.


Bill Rancic's original contract with the Trump organization was due to expire April 15, but he signed on for another year of working on the construction of Trump Tower in Chicago, as well as developing other Trump properties in the United States and Mexico. He'll also assist George Ross and Carolyn Kepcher on the fourth installment of "The Apprentice," Zap2it.com reported Wednesday.

"Bill has done an incredible job in the past year working for me," Trump said.


"He's so talented that I thought he might want to go out on his own and make millions. We're lucky to have him back for another year."

    It's true, Bill will tell it like it is, no question about that. That's the role of a lower level shop keeper answering to the mid-level boss on status of operations and line supervision. They report what's going on and the results within their field of operation.

    Kwame wants to smooze and Bill wants to hammer things. Two different corporate cultures. Kwame keeps a happy corporate family together; Bill goes about slicing and dicing. You know the kind. We've been through them all. Give me the Kwame types of executive leadership anyday. I can enjoy life a bit more.

I think that is great! Hopefully he can keep a job with him for years to come. It was hard earned being on the that show. They really made them work hard for the position.
